Mika sighed "Like I said to you before Jonathan it's just me being on edge when I pull out the sword besides the noise that startled me was behind me." Mika sighed slightly itching her arm and revealing a huge gash. "Dammit I always forget not to scratch there because then I have to explain myself."

“And like I just said I’m not blaming you, heck even if you hadn’t been on edge I wouldn’t blame you”

Mika re-bandaged the gash on her arm as Gabby floated towards her and Mika's dorm.

“Are you ok? You don’t have to explain if you don’t want too”

"Eh it's alright... I was pretty much tortured, experimented on, and abandoned... so it's pretty straightforward." Mika sighed slightly upset "Gabby and her brother Gavin are the only people I really trust here."

Thinksi wonder if that girl will reappear I don’t think she said she had night classes but maybe. She was kinda weird though

Mika's tail slightly swished and she gently sighed "God people are awful sometimes."

*decides to go to the magic practice building* “ ima head over there” *points to a big heavily armed building (for any magic accidents)* then walks over to it

*when inside heads over to the courtyard and throws around some magic*

*the shadow magic causes a blast of light that can be seen from outside the building when he uses it explosively experimentally* “wow”

Vali just finished unpacking her things when she heard an explosion outside the dorm.

"What the-" She leaned on the windowsil and strained against the glass. "No. Way. Are people blowing this place up already? Without me?" Vali flung on her magic-resistant longcoat and strode out. She wanted to run, hurry, but it would be most unladylike.

Only if I get caught.

She looked both ways and broke out into a sprint toward the courtyard to find Jonathan gazing approvingly upon the destruction he'd wrought.

Vali folded her arms.

"Hmph. Did you do that?" she called out to him.

*starts to use magic to repair the impact crater*

(It’s the courtyard of the magic practice building and I’m simply examining it curiously not approvingly)
“Oh yeah sorry hehe I guess I woke you up didn’t I? I wasn’t entirely sure what would happen”
(In day form Jonathan is average height and slightly shorter than vali but in night form is a good two inches or more taller than her and is slightly less awkward)

Vali sighed and flicked her wrist. Dirt and gravel tumbled into the crater. "Well, I find it hard to imagine what else could possibly happen when casting dangerous magic. It is always an explosion. Somehow, magic has this unfortunate tendency to follow laboratory cliches. Anyway, mind telling me how you did that?"

“Uhhhhh hm I summoned shadow magic *summons a small example wisp* which is basically useless on its own unless given intention *flicks it into vali and it does nothing* but when you give it any sort of intention it will do that in a way I’ve never tried intending it to explode and I was curious to see what would happen apparently explosive shadow magic is MUCH more powerful than I expected”

*uses magic to neaten up the crater area until it looks exactly how it was before* *smiles* “telekinesis is my favorite kind*

Vali cocked her head. "How do you summon shadow magic? The basics, I fear, elude me."
