His eyes narrow. But I don't have a family. "I have no one to help me, and it seems that lots of things will want to do me in."

She couldn’t decide to smile or frown, she had gotten what she needed, a clear view of his faults but had found she had a lot to work with then she noticed somebody who could help her “one moment, I’m afraid there is a person I need to talk to for a bit” she walked over to s centaur and talked to him but was far enough that Jared could only hear the words “soothsayer” and “boy”

What was that about a soothsayer? He nonchalantly "wanders away", but really he sneaks closer to them so he can hear the rest of their conversation. He sit on a random log, and gets out his sharping stone so he has an excuse as to why he's siting so close to them.

Sees Jared out of the corner of her eye and slightly Lowe’s her voice although annoyingly more words could still be heard “just wanted to know” “somethings about to happen” “he’s so much to work on” she finished the conversation and thanked the centaur and walked back to Jared “centaur are the most revered diviners”

He looks at the centaur curiously. "How do they see the future?"

“Astronomy and other various methods”

He taps his foot thoughtfully. "Could he tell me about mine?"

that's what we were just talking about she thought about it,no, he couldn't learn his future, it was too risky how he might react "they don't like to be bothered with non essential requests"

He sighs. "Why would it be nonessential for me to know my own future? It is my life. Don't I have a greater right to know then anyone else?" He looks exasperated.

"yes but the question i asked was an important one about the future of my kingdom, if everybody was asking their future all the time they would stop doing it altogether. and how you react might effect your future"

He nods. "And I accept that. But I still want to know. It is my future, and I want to know what will happen to me." He folds his hands across his chest, and tries to stop himself from reaching for his sword.

Smiles “well he’s gone now anyway and I doubt you could find him again”

He growls under his breath and sighs, putting one hand up to his head. He mutters under his breath, "I still can't find the ruin I've been looking for."

“I am having to go meet with another diplomat, I excpect that you won’t be buying that rune farewell ” she then walked away

Who said anything about buying it? He walks deeper into the festival, searching for folk of the Dark Woods.

Aspen who had been quiet for the last few minutes suddenly spoke up “I think I saw a rune scribe back there, catch up with ya later?”

He shrugs his shoulders. "See you later Aspen."

“See ya later!” She flew off towards a stand

He waves goodbye, and walks off, still searching for a Darkwoods enchanter.
