Name: Rhea Rhein Alexander
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Appearance: Year: She’s been studying for two years, but on her third year currently
Rank: Novice
Room No.:Personality: Rhea is an outgoing and confident individual, not afraid to express her ideas and thoughts to those around her, especially through her art and clothing style. She’s pretty serious about magic, but she mostly just wants to succeed in the future, so it’s more of a hobby for her than anything. She enjoys making friends, though she does have a specific “type” that she tends to draw closer towards, and that being those who often have a more negative or pessimistic outlook toward life and reality. She likes those who are down to earth and realistic as she tends to be naturally idealistic, so she likes those who are honest and open about what they think. Rhea likes to get close to these certain individuals; she is very persistent, and she doesn’t take no for an answer most of the time. She tends to be nosy as she likes discussing backstories, though she can be a tad pushy in a way and she doesn’t necessarily like talking about herself either. Though she does have a “type”, she enjoys making friends with those who are kind of the opposite, but she tends not to become very close to them.
She is ambitious and likes a challenge, being very determined to get something that she desires through a number of ways if possible. Rhea is very persuasive, and she likes to use this as a way to get closer to people, but sometimes she just needs a reminder or two to back off a little. She doesn’t wish to be annoying, so she tries her best to avoid that, though she does have a habit of pestering.
Rhea is creatively expressive, and she shows this through her clothing and painting. She really likes abstract art and she has a knack for deeply analyzing paintings and other forms of art, as she likes to paint and sculpt herself. It isn’t uncommon to find her outfits brightly colored or outlandish in a way, but to where it fits her style. She really enjoys magic, but would rather see other people do it, than herself. She find magic to be another form of art that people use to express who they are without ever creating a permanent piece, or something that bends the views of what art should be, kind of like modern art. She would much rather view it than use it herself, and that’s why she isn’t too strong a mage(?).
She is goal driven, but she doesn’t choose work over friends or vice versa. Rhea likes to mix the two in her own way where she can be both successful and happy, but still satisfied, wanting to gain most out of life. She usually doesn’t do something unless she’s gaining something out of it, but that’s kind if seen in a negative way, but to her, it’s more of an advancement to achieve something greater, or to have a deeper understanding.
Rhea also tends to get possessive with those she’s close with. Although she finds it funny, most times she acts serious about it, but in a joking kind of way. She also has a habit of platonically flirting as well, but she doesn’t mean anything by it, it’s just something she does.
She’s also bisexual
Magic Discipline: Creation
Animation: All of her paintings or sculptures are able to “come to life”, but they are confined to the canvas or how they were built. For example, a sculpture of a head, can talk, but it cannot move or “grow” a body. They can talk and move, but only if she wills them to, and they often times don’t listen to commands.
Equipment:· A small human anatomy booklet
· A locket with a picture of her father
Biography: Rhea grew up on a large farm in a rural town with her two older brothers, Jerome and Lamar, mother and father. Rhea was the only child who was born with magical abilities, a trait that she had inherited from her mother, although she didn’t find out about them until much later, around the time she had gotten serious about art in her teenage years.
Around the same time, her mother had filed for a divorce, as she wished to pursue her own career in business, which was hard to do in the middle of nowhere. She had also met another man who she felt fit her personality and desires better than he did, so she left one day, taking Jerome and Lamar with her.
She had asked Rhea if she wanted to go with her, but she refused, wanting to stay and take care of him because she knew that even though he made it seem like he was alright, deep down, Rhea knew that he wasn’t. She loved her mom, but she almost felt responsible for his well being, knowing that he could all too quickly get back into drinking again, a habit he had managed to stop when he met Rhea’s mother.
This was really the time that Rhea’s art career had really taken off, it was kind of an escape for her, to draw and paint stylistically warped figures, all of which had deeper meanings to them, something she just like to infuse into her artwork.
It was in her darkest moments that she had discovered about her creation magic, they really helped her talk through things since she had no one else to talk to, which is why she has an appreciation for magic because her own powers got her through some hard times, and she realizes that it could've helped a lot of other people as well.
She kept close relations with her brothers although it proved difficult being so far away. She enjoys face to face relationships, and long distance is uncomfortable for her. She had already been going to BUM for awhile now, which is something that she didn't mention to her mother and brothers, just because she didn't know how they would react, and she would rather keep that a secret.
Master: She was self taught, which also kind of explains why her magic isn’t too strong
If [Rhea] was forced to sacrifice something important in order to move forward, it would be: It would quicker to be herself than anything she has earned over time. She doesn’t carry anything of high importance on her, but she mostly values her relationships, and she wouldn’t give that up to move forward.
If [Rhea] was offered to have a single wish fulfilled, it would be: To just be a supportive friend to those around her. She would want to be able to fully connect and understand the inner feelings of those she’s close with, on more of a personal level, not counselor-and-student way.
