[OOC] Mobile Suit Gundam - Slave Wraith Operation Titan's Fall

The year is UC0088 and the war against the Titans has finished. With Neo-Zeon on the rise around the colonies the threats on Earth are still present. With the Titans losing credibility, and outright destroyed as a major power they have splintered and their remnants plague the Earth Federation. With many prototype mobile suits, and cyber-newtype operators missing from facilities around the globe the reformed Earth Federation government has formed a task force to solve the issue at hand of wiping out the remaining threats inside the Earth Federation's boundaries. Formed by former Karaba Operators, Ex-Titans, and assisted by the newly emerging Londo Bell forces a reactivation of an old top secret one year war strike team has come into place. The Slave Wraiths were originally a group formed by Federation brass and led by a man called Travis Kirkland. They were a penal brigade responsible for a number of alleged crimes. Some were hackers others shot commanding officers. Seeing this as a fitting way to allow Ex-Titans to reenter military service in proper until they can prove they're trustworthy enough to rejoin the military proper the new military is led by a One Year War veteran Captain by the name of Oscar Turner. For the Karaba agents its a way of finishing off the last vestiges of a corrupt government.

The mission starts at a Earth Federation Base in the western section of Anchorage Alaska. Task Force Slave Wraith are gearing up, and prepping to launch on their first mission to engage a Titan Holdout force. As the newly formed Slave Wraiths prepare for their mission they are about to set out on a bloody expedtion

Rules:
1. You may pilot any common type Zeon Suit if you have a backstory prearranging to it your pilot. Are you a Zeon Defector? Is it some sort of badge of honor? Remember this is a federation based roleplay we don't have access to a lot of standardized Zeon suits.
2. Newtypes may be circumstantially allowed however I would like to keep this leaning towards old types.
3. Singular Made Prototype, and custom mobile suits aren't allowed. By custom mobile suits I mean full out newly made fanon suits. If you want to reequip your GM, or gundam mk 2, or guncannon with whatever that's fine. Gundams however aren't common make sure to include why the federation is setting you up in one. Players with less than 50 posts will not be allowed to join due to a reoccurring Troll problem in my roleplays.
5. This is not a low casual roleplay but it isn't necessarily high casual. What I expect is some depth when it comes to the character. You don't need their whole life story but just the bare bones won't do it.
6. As Gm I hold the right to not allow anything I do not want into this roleplay for whatever reason. Simple as that.
7. Keep in mind that your character may lose any custom equipment your person has on them. The more customized the suit the less chances the federation will readily be able to replace lost equipment.

Personality: Machiavelli presents himself with a variety of indifference, ranging anywhere from unconcerned to outright bored. Often times strangers have viewed him with indifference thanks to his slothful countenance. Lounging about the base, playing lite games to pass the time, and occasionally practicing a long forgotten martial arts is how he spends his self-imposed solitude. Those that get too close or grows particularly friendly of him might uncover the prideful and cynical Machiavelli Lockhart underneath. The man that casually berates someone for placing second or being incapable of "making the shot". The man that doubts anyone or anything other than himself, for he is a Spacenoid and a rare NewType at that.

Because of his boosted head and enhanced abilities, his Zeon days had instilled a near indomitable confidence in himself. He earned his moniker "Outlaw Star" for his unconventional methods and often fortuitous results. After many successes he started to view himself a hero, taking on more onto his shoulders. If the battle didn't turn out in his team's favor, he would stretch his shortcomings and mistakes, lashing out at himself in the darkness and redoubling his efforts in preparation for the next battle. When in the cockpit of a mobile suit, he doesn't do much talking and when he do, its usually vulgar and demeaning.

Biography/History: Machiavelli's the son of an arguably poor philosopher. Financially the man was lacking but he made up for it by having a deep and unnatural wisdom about the world's direction. The day Zeon pulled away from its masters was the day Machiavelli's father wept for two days straight. He use to tell Machiavelli that the stars and space had much to offer humanity, that the Spacenoids, while not completely right in their piety was not wrong in their beliefs. However soon after the war had begun in earnest, something snapped in the father and husband. He pushed an older, eager, Machiavelli to join the war, to find someway, anyway, to put an end to the fighting before it was too late.

Soon after his enrollment and many loss skirmishes, the realization that he was a budding NewType came to light. The initial reason he had even joined the fight, had become jaded by all the death and violence, by the praise and infamy that came with being a survivor. After the war and its horrors, The Zeon Remnants were out for blood and they were merciless in their pursuit for resources. It was this realization, along with a faithful night that ended in a massacre, that reinstated his need to end the war. Eventually he withdrew into himself, planning to leave his small corps in order to join The Earth Federation with high-risk intelligence. The battle was fierce, a tangent of five Zeon pilots countering his escape with his custom Zaku II High Mobility Type. After destroying three, severely damaging another, and intimidating the last, Machiavelli managed to lick his wounds and scurry off to the nearest Federation ship waving a white flag in his crippled suit.

It was luck.

Luck that he had landed on a ship with a kind crew. They followed procedure, locked him up, and kept him isolated, but after months of deliberation he was given a chance to defect. To do what was needed and end the war for good. After revealing his NewType status, which admittedly opens up plenty of doors, he was given a peculiar opportunity. One to right his wrongs and finally fulfill his father's request, whom upon Machiavelli's defection had decided to go into hiding. Machiavelli was given the opportunity to pilot a rather experimental Mobile Suit called RX-80PR Pale Rider. He experienced the cruelty of it's HADES System, found it unnecessary, and after having it custom painted to a wine-red, had the system removed. Personally, Machiavelli has fallen in love with the suit and hoped to make a show of dispatching with the tyrannical Zeon Remnants in its cockpit.

Description/Picture: This Pale Rider suit is painted a deep red color, a shader darker than wine really. It's optics are lit green and honestly, the paint job is a tad too new for Machiavelli's liking. It screams inexperienced and "green".

Hey so quick question, I’m feeling inspired to play something like the communications officer akin to early Sayla. I just think it would be fun to not be a mobile suit pilot and the comms officer interacts with the pilots constantly feeding info and what not.

I can make a pilot if you prefer though was just a thought I had

Well she was in charge of more then just bridge control, she also communicated what the ship could see to help them, and the bridges orders. But if you don’t see it as something that can take a focal point, I understand that too, was just an idea to try and add diversity :)

It probably won't be. The main operational protocols in this rp will be to drop the main team in, keep them tied together with communications, and let them gun down the enemy Titans/Desides, and or eventually Zeon Forces. The ship is there more to just function as the base of operations.

@RennyFor the purposes of this roleplay the Pale Rider suits won't be available as I've tended to use their connection to the original slave wraiths for plot points. Likewise you don't really have much on the Gyps Conflict which would have taken precedent seeing it ended barely a year ago.

EDIT: @vancexentan I might actually wait to see if the others are resolved to continue on before spending time on a profile that won't get used. I hope you'll understand this decision.
