"That would make sense." Altoron theorized.

"We'll find it. I'm sure of it." Carth said trying to be positive.

Ash smiled and clapped. “For now let’s eat and finish up what we need so we can leave” scarlet laid plates on the table.

[Jazz]

Carth nodded, looking toward the plates and then was drooling. "That looks so good." Carth then sat down with everyone else joining at the table.

Ash smiled at Scarlet who sat down and rubbed her neck. “So the doc is finishing up his business and Ash and Carth are waiting on weapon repairs…anything else?”

[Jazz]

The three assassins looked to each other before shaking their heads. "We are fine. We got the supplies for the journey ahead and any food will be picked up tomorrow early in the morning." Kanarus answers.

Scarlet paused then asked “so what the heck do we do all day?” Ash snorted into her glass and coughed as it went down the wrong pipe.

[Jazz]

Carth paused his eating and looked around before swallowing only to pound a fist against his chest as he tried to force it down. He looks to Ash then. "You okay?"

Ash coughed harder as she tried to get up, moving to grab her glass for another drink but couldn’t hold the glass from her coughing so hard. Scarlet looked over and said “Ash? What’s wrong?”

[Jazz]

The three Assassins had their attention on Ash as she continued to cough. Carth was starting to get worried. He tried to pat her back in hopes it would help.

Ash couldn’t stop even with his help and Scarlet moved to the cup she had been using and dumped the contents out on the floor and flipped it over. A mark was on the bottom and glowing. “Dang it! It’s a curse mark! She’s been curse”

[Jazz]

An animalistic growl came from Carth when seeing the curse mark. "What can we do?" Carth asks clearly angry.

Altoron tried to get a good look at the curse mark. "What kind? Based on that there is a way to break it."

Scarlet said “seems old school…dark arts not elemental” ash stumbled back into the next room, starting to turn blue.

[Jazz]

Altoron looked toward Ash and was trying to think hard on how to reverse it and quickly. He looks to the cup and with a dagger carves a purify symbol on the mark.

The mark flashed and Ash dropped, coughing hard but was able to breath again. Scarlet moved to Ash and said “easy Ash…”

Altoron gave a curt nod, glad that it worked. He looked to everyone's cup to see if they also have curse marks.

Carth had gone to Ash with Scarlet to check on her. He looked around to see how this even happened.

Ash was panting hard laying on the floor, her eyes closed. Scarlet checked her pulse and said “any more? On the cups?”

[Jazz]

Altoron nodded. "All of them. Someone must have somehow got into the house and tampered with them."

Maltoran and Kanurus started making their way around the house to sweep the place.

Ash was panting still laying on the floor as Scarlet got up and said “I better check on the doc, if we were hit he might have been. Altoron? Would you mind com8g with me?”

[Jazz]

Altoron went to the door, ready to go with Scarlet. "I'm ready."

Kanarus and Maltoran came back as Kanarus went to check on Shinlo. Carth was still by Ash's side. Maltoran walked up to Carth and handed him is waterskin. "Here." Carth nods before taking a drink then looking to at Ash. "Hey. If you need some water, Maltoran handed me his waterskin."

Ash nodded weakly and sat up more to get a drink.

Scarlet left with the assassin and cursed softly as she ran. “If his at risk because of us I’m going to be so angry!”
