Gamer Roleplay?

THE THREAD IS UP HERE!

Writing from the viewpoint of gamers. Guys and girls sitting in front of a computer screen (much like many of us!). I think it'd be cool to have people from all different kinds of backgrounds talking over the internet. I'm not sure exactly how it would work, but the idea of socialization through only games/IMs/email isn't something I've tried. Maybe it's only me thinking it would be cool.

After discussion with interested people, this is about gamers who find out they are trapped in a role play and are going to try to escape.

I'd probably want about 4-5 people at least? At the very least 3 people. I think this would be really cool!!

There could be, if anyone has ideas. I'm pretty open to anything cause I only have a very rough idea of what this will be

Seriously though, this could be interesting. I'd have a lot of trouble not slipping into RPing as myself, though...

I get that this is something that could happen in real life but seriously guys!! You could play anyone!!!

I think that if you want to do this, it would have to be more than a 'normal life' RP. Maybe slowly introduce creepy supernatural elements?

I mean, our characters could start off normal or something, and then end up realising that they were in an RP (because they RP a lot). Then stuff gets meta.

Of course, this pretty much ruins your original point. But, if you find a way to make it interesting (like, not just a soap or something) I'm totally in.

Thanks. I was thinking they could be trying to escape the roleplay, but they know everything they do is being dictated by the roleplayer.

I clicked on this out of intrest for the gamer idea, but the RP meta stuff blew my mind. Now my head is buzzing with ideas like 'What if i am just a character in an RP?' So i kinda wana RP with a character that things that so i can have RPception.

Also, i am interested in this thing. Ima keep my eye on it, see how things progress. INTREST CAKE FOR ALL!!!
