By the way, can someone translate Beta's Sheet into Not D&D language? I'm at a loss as to what any of this means.

It's Exalted. And PM me with any questions. I will be happy to answer them.

I don't know. At least in the arena, I find duplicates (well not perfect copies, but w/e) to be less than ideal.

EDIT: But, as I read Beta's CS it seems quite a bit different from what I intended.

Meh, if I find myself in an Arena situation where my character is similar to someone else's I pit them against eachother as feverishly as possible.

See which one is better, dig?

Asuras go for it, I actually like the Exalted characters they are a good base for intermediate characters because they offer such a diverse ability set. If you want a Dragon-kin sure why not, everything is possible in the MV. Like LeeRoy said it could be an interesting place to see the characters play out, so many story avenues open up.

Dragon Blooded are very different from Dragon Kings, Dragons, Dragonkin, etc. ... or were you not talking about Exalted?

Ah. The simple explanation, then.

In Exalted, a Dragon-Blooded is a person who (usually through controlled marriages to other powerful individuals) awakens an elemental power within themselves upon reaching a certain age. They can be in tune with one of the following: Fire, Water, Air, Earth, or Wood. Each Aspect has different abilities. Fire, for example, tend to lean more toward combat and are generally very passionate and valorous individuals. Their abilities reflect this element as well, enabling them to rise above the earth like a trail of smoke, explode with a ferocious burst of power, etc.

This sounds allot like it was inspired by that horrid bloodline thing from unearthed arcana.

Well, if you allow multiple characters I always have room for an evil character, the Clockwork Man is at the very least Neutral Good, so its nice to have a wide spectrum of characters to play. Though I think I enjoy playing good characters more in Arena, it adds a greater degree of risk, then again, the Puppet Master ;(

Cool, I'll think of a character well suited for the Angar-Ryllans. (Which always reminds me of Angry Rillas, for some reason.)

Dragon-Blooded have been in Exalted since it was first created. So... I doubt that. I wouldn't know for sure, though. I don't know when Exalted came out and when Unearthed Arcana was released.

I'm pretty sure Unearthed came first, but Exalted seems to use the same bloodlines power thing. Interesting.
