To be clear; The Angar-Ryllans have sought the Nexus of Worlds to have better paths into other universes, correct? They're currently capable of universe-hopping, but not as efficiently or expediently as they desire?

*sigh* no one seems interested in joining the Angar-Ryllans in their bid to conquer the multiverse...They haz cookies

But wait, there is no opposing force to the Angar dudes is there? Hence my idea for a faction war to get ppl into combat with each other, or at least it was Koka's idea.

The Clockwork Man -is- opposing the Angar-Ryllans in a very round-about way, though he only has a basic knowledge of them. That's why he's on Mystique. Though I'll probably have him join a more formidable opposition in the future if I conclude with the Mystan story arc.

I'm pretty sure Unearthed came first, but Exalted seems to use the same bloodlines power thing. Interesting.

Bloodline powers isn't a unique idea, so I doubt it's copyrighted or anything. It's kind of like multiple stories using elves.

I mean.

LeeRoy quite literally offered to give them more advanced translators.

No, I'm pretty sure they call come from the same source. But that's me guessing.

The RP, if it can be called that, does not take place here, but on other threads with the NMV in their title.

Like this one, here.

Well, I think main characters are more of concern to Skallagrim then factions fabricated out of thin air, its ultimately the 'heroes' who do the fighting in Arena Khan.

'Nexus: connection or series of connections linking two or more things.'

Then post in the Nexus, and go where you want. I'm sure if you show up there Skallagrim will send you on your merry way.

Fair enough. However yes, I'm fairly certain this is the IC for the Nexus itself. Skallagrim could probably say for sure though.

This is the IC for the Nexus itself as Melon said. Visit me and we will engage, lore given and you will be sent to where you wish. The multiverse arena rp takes place at multiple locals so different threads are required. Every post adds canon to the locals such as Mystique...Melon and Khan have taken a description and ran with it.

Hm, how would you suggest someone from a magic-centric world to travel in the multiverse? Bullshit about a fantasy spaceship or make them capable of personal travelling through specific waypoints scattered throughout?

There is a built in lore that allows magic users to get around. Every world has a Nexus gate however their locations are lost to the inhabitants. The gates once found can lead to any one other local or the Nexus itself. But the Nexus leads to all locations.
