P-p-p-p-posted! Just so everyone knows, the spell being cast is of the "Celestial" Circle of sorcery, thus taking a minimum of two posts to complete properly. The "God-Forged Champion of War" is essentially a way for the caster to encase themselves inside a huge mech-suit created purely out of their essence/energy. Normally it costs only 20 'motes', but that gives no weaponry. So for the extra ten, I was able to give it a potent laser-ish cannon and a large axe for killin'.I know I may have made it seem like the spell was complete or near-complete in a single post, but I wanted to paint a vivid image for anyone and everyone that was following the Necropoli situation.

So, basically a spell that calls into existence fantasy power armor for the user.

Yeah. Also, sorry for posting such a short post. Snuck off at work to write it, so I couldn't go much into detail.

A basic suit is pretty much just a highly armored shell with incredible physical strength and durability. By spending extra energy, I was also able to give it a powerful melee weapon and a deadly cannon. That way I'm not just like: "Look at my suit, my suit is amazing!"

Eat cake. And edit your post. Ysolda was still on Erde's shoulder. Yeah, that acceleration was moderately jarring... but there are many cars today that likely take off quicker. Sure, people aren't standing ON the cars, but I don't think a magical construct like the God-Forged Champion of War would really be affected by that, as it's technically weightless and unaffected by inertia and momentum. I mean, if you're dead set on leaving her behind, I can work with it. But I just figured I'd add my two cents in.

How was she constructing armor that is as large as Erde while standing on Erde's shoulder?

Also: "She spoke out in a vocal chant as the threads of essence surrounded her and raised her from the Elemental's shoulder, and it even sounded as though several other-worldly voices joined in the chant."

This line sort of implies that now she's floating, so there's that.

The armor ISN'T as large as Erde, it's like two and a half stories tall. As I recall, Erde is much larger. And yes, she was floating, but the Essence Threads that compose the spell are a hardened form of energy, similar to Hard-Light, that have substance and form, while being effectively weightless.The God-Forged Champion of War is fully capable of doing things like walking, grappling, etc... so it could easily stand on a solid surface, such as Erde's shoulder.
