I'd love to, but I came to the conclusion that Edmund's high tier mecha is borderline useless in a proper fight that doesn't involve a foe of similar size (I did build him with Kaiju fighting in mind), and will only be using him in the intermediate tier once I get around to fleshing out his other two mechas. In addition to rewriting his background so that he'll be affiliated with Angar-Rylla.

So I'm afraid that's a no :/

I just finished shooting the movie though, so I'll be a bit more active in the coming days.

I do see the issue of that. LeeRoy, would it be a nice trade-off to have them act as his primary defensive tools as well? So that when he shifts the rings about, he lowers the defense of whatever part of his body that has less rings on it? Seems like a nice dynamic to me. Adds a deeper sense of "Should I shift the rings from my X to my Y, or should I.." etc.

Hmm, well, I'll see what LeeRoy would do with this first.

Also, make no mistake. Shifting the rings is in itself, not a prep. They're the exception. It's like moving your gear from one part of your body to another. An attack using it can still be prepped, and act just as a prepped attack, but that would be a specific action. IE; "The dude started shifting rings to his right arm, his hand brimming with power, readying it's next attack." - Versus "The dude started shifting rings."

Moving a gear generally doesn't multiply the force of an attack though.
