@Jarl Coolgruuf,
@Kassarock,
@Finris,
@Atrophy,
@Fetzen,
I will get a
DISCORD up for anyone who is interested. We can post about general stuff and I'll make a room for plot stuff too. I would very much like to incorporate everyone's ideas into this, a proper and grand adventure, fit to be a Saga. It doesn't have to end and the main plot is just enough to build the environment and to establish the feel of this world. It will be whatever we choose to make it. It is also supposed to be a very dark and gritty comedy, very 18+ themes and scenes, as dark and as gritty as you like, but no smut for the sake of smut. Just wanted to make sure that everyone was aware that this isn't going to be the kiddie pool, even though the rhetoric may be witty and comedic at times as well. I will try to get that going, and I also make one where we can flesh out locations and homelands in as well.
OH YEAH NEW BLOOD WOO!

While we're on dice, I want to make sure I got the flaw modifier right. Let's say Prudence is rolling to sucker punch Ayden (Don't know if it was intentional,@Jarl Coolgruuf, but our character's flaw play off of each other really nicely). Normally, her sucker punch is a normal 3d2 but let's say he hurt her feelings sense she's a real sensitive type so it triggered her first flaw and tagged her with that -2 modifier. So while normally a 5 on a 3d2 would be a good success the modifier would make it a 3 which would be a big old failure and Prudence would just end up smacking the constable who happened to be standing next to Ayden or something equally awful, right?
You may do whatever you wish in terms of modifiers and dice. The system is completely optional and just used as a guide for posting should you choose to do so. I think it's a wonderful idea to be quite honest. I rather like the idea of character flaws complimenting each other. Very cool angle on it to be sure.
That modifier seems kind of harsh actually, I would drop it to
1 instead. In fact I am going to go ahead and change it too for everyone in the rules as well. Also
@Atrophy attack rolls are on a
D10, I would change your skillset so that it doesn't include an attack, unless its a
+ number for attacking to be added to the
D10 score, like a proficiency with knives
+3 or whatever, sucker punch, that sort of thing.
Noting that a sucker punch must be done while your target is off-guard and unaware. But you can just sucker punch someone while attacking, so I would say just add the mod to a
d10 roll if it pertains to an attack. The other skills like lockpicking are the types that would require success rolls with
number X D2, actions using skills. I would just add that to a
D10 roll since sucker punching is a skill in your case.
Update:
I fixed All of the mods to a
-1 save for flintlocks. Still a
-2 on a
D10 roll. I also gave everyone another 5 points to disperse in their skills list, totaling
20pts altogether.
