"Not quite." It's a different dragonkin, but similar to the original. "The one you refer to is both traitor and master. I am his disciple."

"And we suppose to fight you too or are you joining us?"

Picks up the makeshift spear and starts to tie my dagger around the end "well why don't we kill you and send your master a present"he stops" oh haven't thought of that"

"If you attack me, I'll bring him your head. I'm here with a proposition."

[Jasper19]

Fenris looks at him "what is it"

[Shadow Dragon]

"Help him recover an artifact that the kingdom stole from his horde long ago, and he'll help you. If not, he'll take it back himself, and destroy everything along the way. That monster you fought earlier? He's immortal. Nigh unstoppable. He has two weaknesses. If you don't want him to come back, I'd suggest you follow though with the deal."

[King Tai]

"What is the artifact first? And obviously he needs us more than we need him if you're asking us to retrieve it."

[Jasper19]

"What would happen if we recovered the artifact and used it to our advantage instead would it give the magic users a boost in power"

[Shadow Dragon]

"Oh no, it's nothing like that. If you don't want him to go on a rampage and level the city, you'll get it for him. It's a scythe. Large, black, covered in ruins. If you attempted to use it, the necrotic power in the weapon itself would literally consume you. So, if your magic is the art of reanimating the dead, sure, it would help you. But it has a bad history of backlash."

[King Tai]

"And how would we know that he won't just turn it against the populous? It's probably a good reason why it was taken and since you're the servant, why didn't he just send you instead?"

"Hmmm we need to save the city but I'm loath to help a monster....but fine my guild will find it to save the city but I won't guarantee that I won't try to use it against him even if it consumes me and yeah why did he send his servant could he not face us himself"

"He has other matters that take up his time, this is a trivial thing. If he did come, you would fight him, not talk, and he would kill you."

shrugs "ok maybe that's true "

"As for him turning it against the public. You don't know."

"But like I said fine my guild will recover it if it means the city is safe for the time being but like I said I don't guarantee that I won't use it to try and defeat him even if it does consume me"

"You can't activate it's power without Necromancy, which is a banned magic."

chuckles a little "I don't believe in banned magic and even if I can't activate it it's still a weapon"
