—————————————————————————Are there other powered individuals? There are no other superpowered individuals. Our characters will be the first. One of the main aspects of the roleplay is how the world around them changes as a result: laws being put into place, public reaction, being skyrocketed into the media, etc. Do our characters have to be current residents of Delton? No. Characters can have flown the nest and left the town (and even the state), so long as they are the type of person that would feel motivated to return for a reunion. Does [x thing] exist? If it doesn't, feel free to make it exist. If you ever want to introduce a piece of worldbuilding (new location, popular show, popular band, celebrity everyone would know, etc.) just throw it at me in the OOC. I'll approve of it if I feel it fits the world, and it'll be added to the OP. What are the sports that were present in Ritman High? See above—feel free to make them up. I can discuss any changes with you if need be. Is there a specific time you're going for? Oblivion is set in 2019, meaning the group graduated in 2012 when they were 18, which makes them either 25 or 26 today (not sure if I've said otherwise, but I redid the maths). I'm going to set the specific month around July-August time, so you can use that as an indicator for your character's present age. How big is Ritman High? The building itself is roughly 9,500m² (metres, not miles), and in 2012 their enrollment was 498 students. There is an added 7,800m² from their football/sports field. An estimate of the entire school grounds would be 70,500m², which includes various external facilities. Was Ritman in the class A bracket for sports? They teetered between class A and class B, but just managed to scrape class A. Did Ritman have the stereotypical high school setting with the different cliques and hierarchy? Oh, definitely. Not as exaggerated as others you might've seen, I'd say (certainly no pet names for each clique like Mean Girls), but c'mon—they were teenagers. You had the people you'd hang with and the people you didn't hang with, and they all had their own stereotype. |
