Adam meets Jacob at the foot of the stairs. "Is she okay? She seemed mad at me, so I didn't want to bother her."

Devon draws his scythe, and drops it, and sits, watching as it slowly loses more and more of it's form.

Leila watches Devon's scythe dissipate into the shadows. "That's pretty cool. Present from your dad?"

"Yep. I can pull it out of any patch of darkness, and it'll fade away when I'm not using it to prevent theft."
