She smiles and nods. "My family, lets just say....i was always having to demand attention from them...." she said with a shrug. "I was often left alone when my family was out and about." she said to him. "Never really had a relationship with my parents." she said to him.
Winter's face softens. "I was used to eating alone, if I ate. When I did eat, it was primitive home cooked meals, just enough to keep me alive," she replies softly, a distant look in her eyes.
Adam puts down his charm and lays a hand on Artimes'. "I'm sorry you had to go through that."
A startled cry, followed by several more, come from the front, and the aforementioned eagle comes flying in and lands on Arthur's seat back. It nibbles affectionately on his hair.
Adam squeezes her hand and stays silent. ~~~ The eagle nips his ear affectionately and trills. It starts to settle behind him. The parchment reads: "Hey, Fly-Boy, Reyna wants me to give you some back-up. Where are you at? I thought you were in Russia, but some armored ass-wipe let me know that you left after some persuading on my part. Signed, Who do you think?"
Arthur smiles and writes back " what's up firework I'm at this nice restaurant in Alexandria can't miss it " he says and ties the message on the eagle and sends it on its way
