The door slammed shut behind Kull as he followed his new buddy into the alley behind the bar. He wore clean pressed jeans with a black leather belt and black leather boots. His white wifebeater was halfway tucked and had several holes worn through it. No doubt he could tear out of the old, straining shirt with a good flex. He looked like an incredible asshole.
He'd stop six feet away from his opponent, smirking down the middle of the alley, thumbs hooked nonchalantly in his belt.

"You were right, this is a good spot. There's no bell or 'ready go', so..."

Is not really sure how this always keeps happening but at the same time doesn't want it to stop not happening. As they were walking out the door shut he was still thinking if he should use one of the techniques he was working on or not. The cool part about the technique is that most people had no idea what it was the problem was that he didn't actually know how the fight went. Which was complicated what someone asked what happened and after fight interview or over a beer after the fight was over.

Red's mind was running ideas trying to figure out which styles he would use which stances or stance, the words of his opponent/friend. Pulled him back into the real world." It's one of the reasons I came to the city. Supposedly there were some epic fights here. There used to be an underground fight club and this is where they met to showdown they may or may not still exist. So I'm assuming we are going with, no death, no weapons, the fight ends with a tap out/surrender, knockout, and choke out. Classic standard MMA rules with a bit more street lenience and the loser pay's for drinks?"

An excited tremble visibly ran through Kull's stout frame like an electric current, head snapping abruptly to the side with a crack before he seemed to physically shift into a lower gear, sinewy bulk settling lazily onto his bones.

"Ha! Sure! Vale Tudo, huh?!"

He fully extended his left arm, fingers splayed towards his opponent's face, and walked forwards into reach. If Red just stood there, Kull would keep advancing until his middle finger prodded the tip of fella's nose. Heel-toe, heel-toe, Kull moved steadily and smoothly, shifting his weight forwards only when each step was secured.

"Do whatever the hell you want, you DUMPY GINGERBEARD. I bet you've been waiting ages for a chance to go all out!"

Red was still thinking he was really paying attention to the man's words but more his movements. Red wasn't the type to talk trash during a fight he was too busy doing fight math. He did nothing as his opponent approached his brain still rolling around what styles and stance that he was going to use. When the finger landed on his nose his face went completely expressionless.

With the finger still on his nose Red takes both of his hands to chest and turning left hand down flat and his right hand upwards very much look like a Buddhist palm looking stands. The world did not exist for that moment his body was perfectly still except for his breathing. He stood extremely flat-footed his weight perfectly even. 10 seconds went by exactly as he controlled his breathing and his heart slowly began to slow down. He slowly opened his eyes not at all looking into his opponent looking directly into his opponent's chest.

No, expression crossed his face it was completely blank. Then with no warning and quick punch from his left hand. Similar to a quick rabbit punch his hand comes up quickly as his middle knuckle protrudes just a little from his fist the punch itself is aimed directly at the center of his opponent's wrist of the hand that was touching his nose. Aiming with his left to nail it dead in the tendons of his opponent's wrist if he can hit it. Not enough force to break his wrist but enough to bruise those tendons make it very difficult for him to close his hand.

The way Red studied Kull as a whole made it clear that he wanted to keep tabs on Kull's core movements to better react to attacks. Noting this, Kull took advantage of how his opponent was willing to wait ten seconds to respond to the nose boop. A scant moment after the boop Kull sought to sieze Red's nose between his thumb and the second knuckle of his index finger, twisting it to the side with such gusto that it would easily snap cartilage. It'd feel like having a body part caught in a garage clamp. The sudden sharp pain might force Red onto the tips of his toes as well, making his eyes water and compromising his sight.

"The fight's started already, bunglicker!"

Red wouldn't have the full ten seconds to perform his tendon punch, but the scrap had only just begun. Kull was anticipating that his opponent might try to grab his hand or fingers in reaction to having his nose twisted in half, but that didn't detract from his focus. He knew by experience that many fearsome techniques could emanate from any opponent at any time.
This was the kind of fight where hesitation wasn't a factor. Every second mattered just as much as every move.

Red's eye's watered as it was a biological response as his nose cracked. Some blood began to trickle out of his nose. But there was no reaction of pain on his face. Besides his body having to be forced to react to the pain there was no indicator that it registered with him. Red's original plan was countered and both were playing chess. Red wasn't quitting.

Instead of hitting him where he originally planned his right arm came up and a quick twisting arc aiming to it his opponent dead in the elbow. Knowing his opponent would not have enough time to get his arm completely out of the way even if he let go of his nose. Even if his opponent pulled more on his nose which would cause him more pain it did not delay his aim. If he manages to hit on it in the elbow he did not use enough force to break it but enough that it would sprain that elbow severely. If his opponent moved or even if he didn't that he did make contact with the elbow opponent. RED would immediately grab the forearm after hitting the elbow or not. Then take a half a step quick twisting turning his body in toward his opponents sliding his right foot forward putting his body parallel with his opponents. Forcing his arm to be locked straight and pushed against his shoulder bearing down along his joints.

Not stopping his momentum as he did pull his opponent's body into his. The left hand would come up to him hard in the armpit knowing that if the hit lands if you would stop his opponent's heart. He figured this guy wouldn't go down but it would deftly shake him inside for a few minutes. If he missed his intended target he would most likely be able to hit him in the ribs hopefully giving them a nice crack.

The elbow strike could have caused damage if Kull's arm had remained straight. He released Red's nose to partially bend his elbow, the blow bopping his arm up a couple inches with a meaty thud. Suddenly, Red was gripping Kull's forearm and seeking an armlock.
Kull's eyes briefly widened in surprise and Red took his half-step, casting out his hard-trained technique with confidence.
*KRIK*
With a grimace of distaste Kull twisted his left hand palm up in his opponent's grip, exposing Red's thumb on the underside of his forearm. Applying his full set of industrial strength fingers to the task of curtly and efficiently freeing himself, Kull's right hand darted out to sieze his opponent's thumb in a beefy fist and wrench it backwards, hard and fast.

It was obvious that stocky fighters with thick necks and compact frames made for great grapplers. Their low center of gravity and strong, short limbs afforded a lot of leverage. In a real fight that meant a lot more, especially once they got past the reach of a taller opponent. It meant anything that could be grabbed could be destroyed. It appeared that this concept constituted a considerable portion of Kull's style.

The Cap'n didn't take his eyes off Red, ready for a sudden reaction. In his experience most fighters lost their wits as soon as a few bones got broken. They'd react spontaneously, aggressively, carelessly, but Red seemed to have true focus in combat.
That was just as well, for although Kull had an impudent tongue he wasn't so impolite as to hold back in a fight.
