Name: Zolfix Bio: The appointed go-between for all of Obsidian’s Hand operations on planet Nautrias. He is a Puricon, birthed into upper royalty and destined to sit at the highest table in the noble court. However, he declined the seat for a greater opportunity with Obsidian’s Hand. He reaps the benefits as their trusted employee, and believes he’s above Puricon law.
Name: The Founders Bio: From left to right: Vesavi, Cyrika, & Itreilu are the trifecta leadership of the Coalition. Vesavi governs the needs of the people and is loved by many. Cyrika commands the military and is feared by most. Itreilu accounts for logistics and is perceived as the intelligent one.
Together, with the combined defenses of the United Star Sector, The Founders have kept the Puricons and Obsidian’s Hand at bay, but it’s only a matter of time before another civil war sparks the seas, yet again.
Name: Urien Nakan Bio: His full identity is rarely disclosed. Zolfix, his droquilian-puricon liaison, isn’t even sure if he’s seen the synthoid’s true identity. He exists amongst all things, sifting between technologies as a holographic deity. He is the supreme overseer of Obsidian’s Hand’s entire Nautrias operation. His eyes are on the prize, never waning from the company goal, even with the USS meddling in their affairs.
Name: Captain Weaver Sinclaire Bio: Weaver Sinclaire served under Rear Admiral Gildeon Omarkei as they established their USS base on planet Nautrias. After careful consideration, she conceded with his plan to spearhead the Trident force, retiring her original rank to become a volunteer-class ship captain. She is recognized as the group’s leader with Atrigan as her second-in-command. Weaver is an altered human whose vital organs and musculoskeletal system is replaced with synthetics capable of handling Nautrias’ environment.
Age: 30 Race: Droquilian-Coalition Appearance: Atrigan is considered as a lower-tiered Droquilian in Puricon respects. In truth, he resembles any other male of his species that isn’t of high nobility. He’s a slim bipedal that stands a little under 6 feet. Atrigan has hardened skin, textured with callouses along the sides of his skull and jaw, a badge from enduring harsh, lower depth pressure missions. The main fin on top of his pate scales to the back of his skull and frays into dreadlock-styled tendrils. His neon-green eyes are his standout features, filled with life, and electrifies with an intensity like that of the bioluminescent eels of the Swaying Coves.
The Slip Suit is specifically designed for Atrigan’s biology, a joint Droquilian-USS prototype. It comes with a standard biometric and close quarter communications HUD. The inner layer is coated with a special material that allows for enhanced kinesiology. The outer layer serves as pressurized armor for Nautrias’ more deeper, underwater depths, and can also emit different types of cardiac pulses to throw off sonar radars. Seaweed camo attached to the helmet works best in lit areas and provides limited stealth invisibility.
Sonicwave-Pistol & Rifle with Channelers The sonicwave arsenal in his repertoire is designed to disable enemies with acoustic blasts. These concussive forces are honed and fine-tuned by Channelers. Channelers are like silencers, muffling the blast so nobody else within its radius gets afflicted.
Personality: While he takes his work very seriously, Atrigan prefers to handle pressure with a more laidback demeanor. While he postures with a more relaxed persona, his mind is constantly in thought, calculating, forming contingencies, and thinking three steps ahead. He is a proud Droquilian who loves his planet and hates what the Obsidian’s Hand has done to it. He is indifferent to the USS. While he is grateful for their help, and fascinated by their ways, he does not fully trust their motives.
Backstory: Atrigan’s goals boil down to three things: Repel the Obsidian’s Hand invaders from his planet, topple the old edicts of the Puricons, and establish a true democracy for all of Nautrias’ races. Atrigan was originally part of the Coalition Spy Network that specialized in gathering intel on Puricon-Obsidian’s Hand activity. He was one of the first enlisted, vouched for by Coalition higher ups. He served as lead reconnaissance in his first year as a Trident, and has been promoted to a leadership role into his second year.
Miscellaneous: Atrigan loves off-worlder food, especially the human cuisine called pasta. He also loves to watch movies and cartoons, putting the universal translator embedded into his neural system to good use as he’s able to watch and understand all sorts of alien cinema.
Equipment: - Two 'Pixie' drones, modified to work underwater. The Pixie model is very small, power efficient and mobile making them perfect for long term observation, though they can be re-purposed for other tasks. Can be controlled manually or given rudimentary instructions.

Personality: - Even amongst her colleagues Amélie is described as 'professional'. Only a few people have ever really gotten close to her emotionally - Loves to talk about her work and others, whether it's the latest text on the void-gliders near Xxattra V or the new line of Pixie drones (which obviously aren't as good as the the previous model). Unfortunately this leaves her quite awkward around people who don't understand these things - Has no history in violence and despite being directed to practice with her sonic pistol before leaving on this expedition never actually did so, hoping she'll never have need to use it - Comes from a rich family, which paid for her education. She has a stiff accent and bearing which gives it away
Amélie has never really struggled, whether in studies or life. She was born into privilege and given every advantage, and has flourished. Her name and standing were cemented when she wrote 'The definitive Guide to Droquillan Biology and What it Means to YOU' completely out of coincidence a few months before the species joined the USS, some 7 years ago now. Originally meant to be just her graduating text it became a hit best seller as the political situation unfolded on and off the planet, despite only mentioning anything to do with the conflict in the foreword.
Unintentionally Amélie had become the household name on the Droquillan species and devoted the rest of her study towards the topic for the next few years, eventually becoming a Doctor and publishing the text 'Nautris: The Great Blue Mystery' despite never having stepped foot (or submerged one) on the planet. It was a text on eco-sphere and a touching on local culture. It would once again be released perfectly timed and sell amazingly well as a few months after publication it was announced 'The Trident' was approved and green-lit.
Given her recent string of success in the field she was approached by the USS Navy and met by Rear Admiral Gildeon Omarkei, where she was brought onto the initiative in an advisory capacity, briefing the operatives and developing understanding of the planet and it's inhabitants. Despite not wanting to leave the comfort of her lab for the confines of a stuffy space-ship she knew it would be career-suicide not to follow this opportunity.
Although she has technically served with The Trident since its launch she is only making planetfall on this second year, now that the situation beneath the waves is a little more safe (if not stable). Her reaction to this is mixed; on one hand she wants to keep herself safe but on the other hand she wants to make sure her book and legacy is as accurate as possible.

Backstory: Jules was born in LA on December 12th 2105. Growing up he was always fascinated by flying and technology having a fairly normal childhood Jules decided to join the Navy when he was 18 after graduating from basic camp Jules took the extra training and education to become a naval pilot . After Being a pilot for two years Jules was approached by a member of the USS and was asked if he wanted to join them the exploration of Nautrias jumping at the chance to go to a new planet he said yes. After working with the USS for a couple of months He heard of Trident and submitted his application to join. After waiting a couple of months he finally got accepted and is ready to start his first year with Trident Miscellaneous : Jules ends up getting addicted to a popular Nautrias drink called blurb which is like soda
Race: Droquilian Subrace: "Abyssal" or "Deep Sea" Droquilian -Those who come from deeper down in the ocean than their fairer brethren. Traditionally they were tasked with guarding the Droquilian civilization from invaders from the depths. These Droquilians are more prone toward bio-luminescence in their genetics than those of of the more shallow waters. This sub-race mixes often with those from the upper layers, but it is common for noble families with Abyssal lineage to send their young to train as soldiers in the deep. And Valhan is no exception to this.
Appearance: Standing at about 6'5", with a lean, muscular build and skin that is a slightly translucent blue with shimmering hues of green, dotted with white marks here and there in intricate detail. He has small, barely visible nostrils, but no nose, and a series of amphibious gills lines his neck. A field of short, reddish purple filaments crown his head in place of hair, as well as a set of spiny fins that span from the crest of his head to his tailbone. These fins are more rigid than the filaments, but still reasonably flexible. These and similar fins that are found on his forearms and the sides of his legs are cause for special custom-made clothes, and certain changes had to be made accordingly for his uniform. In addition to these fins is a long and membranous tail supported by a cartilaginous spine, with a flowing orange-tipped caudal fin at the end, and frills of transparent purple flesh along the underside. When on land, this wide membrane is rolled inward from the sides, but is capable of opening and wrapping around his legs in order to bind them together and improve hydrodynamic movement. He sports four fingers on each hand, each of them segmented with jagged knuckles and tapered into points at the fingertips.

Valhan is flirtatious, playful, and an overall easy-going individual. He just wants to have fun, and intends for others to do the same. Not much gets under his skin, although he does take great pleasure in getting under other people's, and even more in seeing them try to do the same to him, which he welcomes as a challenge. This he does not do with any sort of malicious intent (unless directed at his foes), but rather because he is simply mischievous by nature. In addition, he is exceptionally cunning, although quite often he prefers to feign ignorance, as it causes people to either drop their guard, or else get annoyed. Which to his mind is essentially a win, either way. And winning is important, for as far as he is concerned, life is just one big, elaborate game, and each person another player to engage. Even things such as nature and life itself are opponents to be challenged, which perhaps explains his utter recklessness and disregard for his own safety. Valhan exudes fearless confidence in all things, even at his own expense. This, too, he takes in stride, however, as winning or losing all comes with playing any game. Indeed, he seems the sort who does not know how to take anything seriously at all. Yet however devious he seems, he is actually fairly kind-hearted, and does occasionally know when to be serious. It is rare, however, and even more rare is it for him to become angered- however, when he does it is a dark, sinister sort of wrath, resembling that of an apex predator.

He had always been something of a free spirit, but growing up, he had always obeyed. Even when that meant being sent to Rycort Trench to train as a warrior, as was tradition in noble families of his kind. So it was that from a very young age, he learned how to let the depths of Nautrias strengthen and shape him; how to fight for his people; and how to follow the rules of tradition. And for a time, he did it well.
Until one day, when his unit was ordered to process a group of invaders from the depths whom they had beaten, and a commanding officer tore a girl from the group and began to manhandle her. Nobody else seemed to care. In fact, they seemed to condone the behaviour or even do some of the same, calling the survivors little more than 'lesser beings'. But as Valhan looked into the eyes of girl in his comrade's arms, he saw only the desperate tears of a frightened person.
Without hesitation, he killed the commander, then another dozen startled soldiers before he was finally overwhelmed by their numbers and incapacitated. They could have killed him then, but due to his status, he was instead brought in restraints before a council of Puricons who sentenced him to exile.
After that, he found his way among pirates and learned their ways. Over the years, he worked on many different ships, sometimes parting ways with them at the ends of their voyages, sometimes due to rather more violent falling-outs. Not long after the inception of Trident, his pirating ways led him into the cross-hairs of one of their operatives, who being impressed with his talents offered him a job. Although at first he was not interested, upon learning what their purpose was, he decided to give it a shot. Provided, of course, that he could live his own way.
He is electrogenic. As such, he has a few skills which are relevant to that, which are most effective underwater.
He is sensitive to electric and bio-electric fields, and can determine the direction of a source with precision varying upon how distant the target is. This evidences itself most notably in the form of his quick reactions and reflexes.
He releases a high energy electric pulse, which can be as high as 1000 volts, but the higher it is, the more taxing and potentially dangerous it his for him. On land this ability can only effect the opponent if they are touching him directly, or if a conductive material is making contact with both he and his opponent. In water this ability is much more effective, and has a minimum range of 20 ft and a maximum of 100. It is even more effective and dangerous in salt water, but is deadliest there and is therein potentially deadly within 20ft. HOWEVER, he will only use this ability as a last resort.
-Unrelated to natural abilities, he is well trained in spear fishing, weapons combat, and martial arts. The latter being his most frequent means of combat interaction.
-Due to his large size and extensive training, he is physically much stronger than a human. -Without his tail wrapped around his legs, he is a faster swimmer than the average human. With it, he is significantly faster. Out of water, he is quite agile, and uses his tail to his advantage for keen balance. -He is exceptionally intelligent, cunning, and quick at assessing a situation and coming up with a plan to suit it. -He has very sensitive hearing, being able to hear from 0.5khz-120khz.
-He has very sensitive hearing, so exceptionally loud or high frequency sounds are very harmful to him. -Strong magnetic fields are very disorienting and disconcerting to him. He can soldier through them on willpower, but the stronger they are, the harder it will be, and the higher the likelihood that it makes him sick. -Use of his electrogenic abilities is a metabolic process, and as such uses much needed energy from that which his metabolism has provided. Overuse can leave him weak and starving. Obviously, the more energy he emits, the more energy it uses. -His gills are quite sensitive, being that they are essentially nearly external respiratory organs. If covered or crushed, it could severely obstruct his ability to breathe, and could quite potentially kill him. -As has been previously stated, he is incredibly reckless, and does not tend to back down from any challenge. Something which can be exploited if one knows enough about that behaviour of his. He is not entirely devoid of restraint in this, but is severely lacking therein. This is likely his greatest weakness by far, and is the most likely to cause his downfall.

-Envoy X-1 Brain: This piece of tech is the most crucial part of Voice. While she is an A.I, this tech increases the amount of which she can control her programming, the speed of her information grabbing. It also allows for a multitude of abilities too, it increases her problem solving, as well as gives her virtually unlimited knowledge. This tech also gives her near photographic memory of whatever she chooses. Basically, this is an enormous computer/hard-drive that helps her function at 200%. Is also connected to the screen on her arm that she uses as a monitor of sorts. In order to access her infinite database, she must stay as still as possible, meditation level still and it takes a full post to access.
-HF Unbound Ears: The HF Unbounds function at normal uses, and then they have their tactical uses. In normal function settings, these ears are at the peak of human conditions. Meaning she has the same level of hearing as a trained ear for hunting, etc. The tactical settings are a lot more interesting, ranging from picking up unsecured com channels, to being able to hear up to half a mile (Big note, she must stay stationary so that she can focus, she can hear, but she has to choose what she wants to hear, which also means she has to be able to see what she wants to hear.)
-Multi-Metal Mesh Chassis Frame: Not only is her "bones" made of the metal mesh but it also looks like metal muscles under something like an X-Ray or the like. It can take medium level impacts, and because she doesn't have a sense of pain, it can take bullet and knife wounds extremely well. It also is more focused on being flexible, so that Voice has high mobility and keeps her on the lighter side. Weighing in at about 190 lbs give or take.
-Hermes Z4P1 Legs: These legs are where Voice gets most of her physical power, and of course, her speed. Max running speed being clocked at 40 with little effort. She doesn't really go above this speed, so she has no clue if she can go faster then this. Her legs are synced with her eyes to allow for easily mapping a path for her to follow through buildings or debris with ease. Power wise, shes able to kick cars out of the way with effort, and snap regular bones without. Reinforced or cybernetic bones and the like require more effort, but long story short, don't be at the end of her kicks. She also can jump almost a story and a half up and about the same distance vertical.
-AE54 Surreal Vision Eyes: AE54's are military grade eyes that allow her to complete most of her abilities. Synced to the Envoy X-1 that power her like a core, these allow her to direct her shots with her smart-link, see her information and battle HUD, switch between infra-red, to Night vision and even a Heat Vision feature. The eyes in normal form are on par with a military trained eye, but for over watch and surveillance purposes, she can zoom up to x4.
-Duratis Metal: Made of an extremely rare metal, it is capable of withstanding any extreme for her array of missions. Her body can adapt to handle the heat of alien volcano's, to the deathly cold temperatures of planets far from any star. She even can become airtight to allow her to travel in water.
-Main Weapon:
An assault rifle whose descendant is that of the AK-47 and the PDW, the Ares Megacorp created the AR7M1. It is a Mid-Short range combat stealth-rifle, built strictly for infiltration stealth. The rifle uses a small reactor to work, meaning the gun has intense power, however it must charge, much like Voice using solar energy or some sort of by product. Voice was awarded this gun after making valiant efforts to save her comrades and almost dying in battle. She so happened to luck out with the Ruskie Varient, a virtually silent version of the gun. Voice repainted the guns in an all matte black finish and a blue eye on the barrel.
-Side Arm:
A heavy pistol with an integrated smartgun link, an internal micro-gyro recoil absorption system, and the option for burst firing, it’s a very reasonable weapon for an experienced owner who expects to be in heavy combat. Each mag holds 12 bullets. For this mission, she'll be using a water-combat version of them. She carries two, the holsters located at base of her back, right before her butt.
-AC523 Cloak: Pretty self explanatory, its a standard camouflage cloak.
-Because her main weapon uses solar energy and converts it into an energy weapon, she only carries the huge bullet mags for her pistols. She carries four extra mags, but has the ability to call in for emergency resupplies.
-2 Water-Combat Variant Flash-bangs, an energy edge'd 1ft knife, 3 Solar Lights, capable of recharging her weapons or herself .
Personality: V.O.I.C.E doesn't have a personality, more so it is the woman who made her, whose memories she has. Because of this, Izzy is bot a natural flirt and self-proclaimed comedian. She'll call people 'babe' or 'hot stuff' even if she barely knows them. It typically is meant in a friendly, but no one ever really knows with her, shes truly capable of perfect lying. Comedic wise, she's been told she has incredible comedic timing and that she just a funny being. Most of this is credited to her Creator, Miki, who was known to be a generally nice natured funny human being.
Now Izzy has a lack of patience. It can be seen as a negative trait in many aspects. But when it comes down to it, V.O.I.C.E doesn't like to wait or be waiting on other people. She has this weird thing with regret. The 'I wish I did this when I had a chance' is almost like a pet peeve of hers. She doesn't want to have thoughts like that, and it pushed her to being impulsive or spontaneous if you want to call it; so obviously she would come to develop impatience with that mindset. She'll burst into meetings or disrupt your heart to heart, it doesn't matter to her when you've kept her waiting long enough. She actually admires people who have patience, this is probably why she likes hippies. Because aww heyy maaan, everything's all cool with them.
When V.O.I.C.E sets her eyes on something she will become determined to get it. Whether learning a new trick or technique or to simply gain something from someone. It would take some rather large emotional strain to kill her determination inside. This determination inside of her will push her forwards to stand up for herself or for another. Sometimes her action displayed while being determined are described as 'Bold'. Izzy has learned that she can achieve great things through her determination. With that she still clings onto this determination to overcome obstacles and challenges.
In all honesty V.O.I.C.E is kinda lazy at times. She's still getting use to living under the constant threat of starting a world wide man hunt for her. Maybe a lil bit of a rocky start now. Don't be surprised if you see V.O.I.C.E sitting on her ass, eyes closed surfing the near limitless information available in the matrix. While she is somewhat of a sloth, at the end of the day (when its no longer time to play), she has a work ethic most would die for, just have to get it to interest her. Though in truth where would she go otherwise?
You might think this girl is a straight shooter, a mentally well girl, but she is in fact one of the most emotionally complex beings to exist, at least thats what she's been told. Because of the circumstances of her merging with her creator, she lives almost a double life she is slightly unaware of. She knows the memories she has, aren't exactly hers, but her programming convinces her it is, so she is stuck in the middle. All the while, Miki, bleeds through her and after all this time, has become her, and vice versa. She holds the humanity and ideals of Miki, but the calculation and brilliance of the A.I that is V.O.I.C.E.

Personality: >> Quiet yet bubbly, Uruna is a cheerful female Quirina that loves to look at the brighter side of things. Part of her showing a positive exterior is because of her training as a medic, that they should always show their patients positivity and hope to help alleviate their pain. She is very caring to others, often going out to make sure the needs are others are met first before hers. She works along well with people and is a very cooperative one at that, though she is quite shy and will often be nervous about making casual talk with others. Uruna found herself feeling peace when talking to creatures more than people like her.
Backstory: >> Uruna grew up as a young girl who didn't know who her parents was. Based on the orphanage located in the Coalition Territory where she grew up in, they just found her by their door, crying as she was swaddled in kelp with her name etched on a pink shell. Uruna wasn't like the other girls her age; she was shy, nervous, and often alone. It seemed that she liked hanging out with creatures more instead of the other children. She didn't want to be taken by a random couple as she viewed the orphanage as her own home.
In time, she was seen having an aptitude in healing despite having no experience when she helped a fish to float upright when it had buoyancy troubles. When she was old enough, she was sent off to medical school to become a medic, as Uruna was very eager to help others despite her shyness.
Of course, she also knew of the Obisidian's Hand and how it had corrupted her beautiful world. Uruna can't understand how people could be so evil, greedy, and cruel as they continue to strip the resources off of her home planet along with hurting the creatures that inhabit it. She joins the Trident to help defend Nautrias from Obisidian's Hand and, hopefully, to find her parents too.
Miscellaneous: >> Quirinae are jellyfish mermaids who, unlike regular jellyfishes, can control the millions of cells along their tentacles, letting anyone to touch them without fear of being shocked. They can control the cells to such an extent that the subtle voltages along their tentacles are useful in speeding up the healing process of a wound. The jelly-like membrane on their heads are useful from blocking blunt hits that could damage their head. Quirinae are also bio-luminescent, able to glow their bodies at will, and can even turn transparent to hide in plain sight. Quirinae belonging to the same family have the exact brightness of light and the exact shade of color they emit. Lastly, they have regenerative properties, allowing them to heal them torn membrane or a sliced tentacle back to its original form in just an hour, depending on the wound. >>
Uruna found Ommo laying on a coral reef with one of his flippers wounded. She nursed him back to health and Ommo hasn't left her side since. He is very intelligent for a turtle and is a good judge of character, only showing affection to Uruna and no one else. He is a very effective medic assistant, using his beak to offer the tools Uruna needs when healing a patient.
