Backstory
Regnum Magnopere
The Regnum Magnopere, the largest and grandest kingdom across the lands. Known to have ties in its history to the origins of the Tower of Babble, many from across the world travel here with dreams of becoming a grand hero of legend. The Tower of Babble, located in the middle of the city, stretches to the Heavens with no end visible to any human, spirit, nor tool. The kingdom is run by a single monarch, Queen Astella. The Queen is known to have a great beauty, wisdom, and power due to having the 3-Star Spirit known as Athena. The Queen rules over the three main factions and watches over all in her kingdom.
The three main factions are:
The Cold Gate Guards - The primary military and police force of the kingdom. This faction has the most brute force with most of its forces consisting of 2-Star Spirits and are mostly focused on ice-based attacks. Their base and territory takes up the Northern side of the city and despite that, they still control the primary city defenses such as the walls, siege equipment, etc. The head leader of this cold-blooded faction is General Snow with a 3-Star Spirit called Obelisk the Tormentor. Despite his cold feelings toward those who are unjust, he has a secret kindness to his own men.
Niles's Property Ownership, Gather Everything General Store, and Peter Piper's Postal Delivery Service
The Flaming Heart - The main guild of adventurers and summoners who travel throughout the city and Tower. Their faction is mostly located in the south eastern part of the city. Vigilantes most of the time, they don't hesitate to step over the law in order to do what they believe is right. There forces are the smallest of the three but do consist of the most 3-Star Spirits in the entire city. Also, they have quite the influence over many combat focused guilds as well. The leader of the hearth is Arthur Phoenix with his 3-Star Spirit Ho-oh.
Samantha's Smithy and Co., Bankers and Brawn Armory, Wesley Wandering Weapons
Church of the Lord - The most influential among the public of the three. The faction of the Lord is located in the south western part of the city. They have the weakest of combat potential among the three factions, however they have the largest pool of 1-Star Spirits. The priests of this Church support the mythological being that supposedly aided the original humans to build the Tower. These priests try to show these miracles in various ways including public healing and supporting intellectual guilds. The Head Priest known as Father Braxus with the 3-Star Spirit Maximus.
Humans - The most common race in the city. They were the original inhabitants of the city. Orcs - Mean, most of them green, fighting machines. Most preferring brawn over brain and find themselves joining the Flaming Heart Guild. Rarely does one find one wanting to be a mage. Elves - Quite quick and smart, these pointed ear people came to immigrate from their forest realm to join the goal of discovering the secrets of the Tower. However, most do enjoy looking into discovering more magic and mysterious of arcana more so than exploring. Dwarves - Treasure loving short people, this studious race seems to enjoy sticking true to their own beliefs and are quite stubborn in them. However, they're desire for adventure and riches lead to them toward the Tower as well. Halflings - The prankster short race as well, they are quite similar to Dwarves. However, they do prefer jokes and new technologies in comparison to their own stubborn ways. They too, however, are attracted by the potential riches in the Tower. Ani-Folk - Humanoid animal hybrids. From either a simple tail or being a completely animal-like creature that can walk, those from this race are usually higher in the physical capabilities than the other races but have lesser skills in the arcane. Half-Breeds - Those who are a mixture of any of the races above Spirit-Touched - (must have ONE physical quality of a Spirit to show one is a Spirit-Touched) The rare people who are a mix of any of the races above but also have a Spirit as a parent. They are looked down by all, and have no place among the people. Usually they prefer the isolation despite having a way to speak with Spirits and a fondness to bonding with them. Kitsune and among others are included in this category.
Spirits
Tower of Babel
The Tower is located in the middle of the city, with one large major entrance facing southward. The entrance is filled with all the different guild shops, and a majority of the population can be found traveling to and from in the area. Supplies for adventures, living, and basically anything can most likely be found at the Tower. However, once traveled past the main entrance, there lies three major shops that are key to a summoner adventurer's success. These shops surround a large altar that leads up to a strange blue crystal. Once activated, one can travel in between the floors of the Tower through a portal. So far, the adventurers have only traveled up to the 10th floor and managed to colonize Floors 1-5 and 10. Those who enter can only go through each floor at a time unless they have discovered the higher floors with a companion who has once traveled to that specific floor. Each floor provides a different landscape, variety of Spirits, and untapped resources to be discovered if not discovered already. However, despite making many breakthroughs in magic and technology, adventurers can still travel through the floors due to the Tower consisting of 40 Floors total.
Iniya's Spirit Information - Basic teaching building located inside the Tower. Run by an elven woman Iniya, she takes no sides with the factions and is a neutral party. If there's information needed, she's the one who gives it. For those who explore unexplored Floors, she's willing to pay up quite some hefty loot for those information and items found on that Floor. Also, the main Job Board here for quests and jobs are located here.
Evaluation of Spirit Bonds - Another neutral building located inside the Tower. Run by a Spirit Touched Feline called Edwardo, he has quite the reputation for making terrible puns. However, his touch of idiocy is accompanied by genius since he's the only one known in the entire kingdom to be able to evaluate, judge, evolve, and fuse the Spirits! Though his services are not cheap, people constantly come to him for all sorts of Spirit business.
Bank of Nothing - An important business led by an actual Spirit! The 3-Star Spirit Midas runs the bank, able to do these storage services for anyone for free with an absolute 100% guruantee of nothing being stolen. His own greed is satisfied by the "Higher Spirits" or so he claims and doesn't mind spending his time doing this job while counting his gold.
The Spirits
Spirits are mythical creatures that first came from the Tower. The Spirits could be as simple as animal looking beings such as dogs or cats, or may even be in the forms of gods lost in legend. Many left their homes to journey and bond with people they believe could be of importance. Many have stayed inside the Tower and co-existed with anyone who come along. However, even many more are wild and prefer to live inside their territories on the Floors, attacking anyone on sight. Spirits are able to transform into three different forms, are broken into three species groups, and ranked into three different categories. Oh and can never forget that those who are in the 3-Star Ranking can evolve up to 3rd final evolution!
Evolution One Example: Puppy, small dagger, cast low tier magic or small supernatural ability Evolution Two Example: Wolf, small sword, cast middle tier magic or mediocre supernatural ability Evolution Three Example: Large Wolf, sword, cast high tier magic or high supernatural ability
Beast - A good majority of the Spirits have a primary form considered the Beast species. These include Dogs, Felines, Lizards, and many types of birds and mythological creatures that share the same anatomy or physical structure.
Humanoid - Some Spirits are actually humanoids that are able to speak and interact just like the regular citizens of the kingdom. Well...despite the fact they may be kinda stronger than a normal person and they are well Spirits and emit energy in different ways.
Beastkin - Those Spirits that are classified as both Humanoids and Beasts. These are quite rare but the most commonly discovered ones are Sprites which are low 1-Star Spirits. Rarer ones that are suspected to be above Floor 10 consist of demons, angels, dragon-kin, etc.
Spirits can never die once slain and instead are converted into strands of energy that are transferred back into a large magical crystal found on every floor in the ceiling. Eventually they reincarnate and most reincarnate in a few hours or few days. However, Spirits bonded to a summoner are transferred back to a Catalyst that the summoner provides. This could range from a Capture Ball, a Yagi Card, summoning scrolls, and the list goes on. Once Bonded Spirits are slain, the summoner receives Negative Feedback and suffer major fatigue as their Bonded Spirits go back into the Catalyst to recover.
Material Form - The weapon form that the Spirit can manifest in
User Form - The fusion between a Spirit and a summoner resulting in the summoner gaining new abilities depending on the Spirit
Animal/Humanoid Form - The standard form the Spirit is usually in either of a Beast or Humanoid shape
1-Star Spirits - Can only achieve one form into Third Evolution
2-Star Spirits - Can only achieve two forms into Third Evolution
3-Star Spirits - Can achieve all three forms into Third Evolution

Rules!
Creatures in a 3-Star Ranking are much rarer than a 1-Star which are your average Spirit creatures like a magical puppy vs a regular puppy Magic and Tools are allowed to be used! Spirits can even be focused on amplifying or modifying one's powers or magic too! You're going to have to trust me please on distributing items, Evolutions, Spirits, and such and I'll do my best to make it very balanced! Everyone is at Level 1 in the beginning! Have fun and be kind OOC please! Oh and if you have any questions or ideas, feel free to ask!
1. At Evolution 1, even 3-Star Creatures can lose to a Evolution 2 Creature or get overwhelmed by Evolution 1 creatures. Keep that in mind! 2. 3-Star Creatures are just descriptions of rarity! Not power levels all the time!
If we're dealing with 2 people at best this one might be a non-start.
Yeah let's just hope for the best if we can at the very least get one to two more players. If not, I can edit it and let you guys form a pair party if you folks want to
