Name: Jig
Role: Shaman
Age: 4 (Chronologically) / 18 (Human Equivalent).
Description: Small even compared to most female goblins, she stands at a mere two and a half feet and weighs not an ounce more than twenty four pounds. As a result she has a very slight, slender and what one might call even outright scrawny physique. She has a slight, round face with a button-nose and large, wide eyes that might perhaps be considered cute even by non-goblin standards. She keeps her shaggy, wild hair in a rough approximation of a bob cut.

Her skin is a soft, mint green shade and her face is dotted with a splatter of darker green freckles across her nose and under her eyes. Her eyes are a brighter and vibrant shade of green akin to malachite stones, while her hair is a shade of green so dark it appears nearly black at a glance. As fitting of her position, she wears the rabbit skull necklace around her neck, while the rest of her attire is a strip of cloth across her chest and a loincloth.

Background: Hand-picked from a young age to be the next Shaman, she was yet young and fresh when the previous Shaman died and passed the title to her. Although she received the full training as all Shaman do, her teacher was already elderly when he began her training and it continued well into his final days. This is no fault of her own, and she is as qualified as those who came before her, but the rushed nature of her succession has left her feeling ill prepared and far too young for the role.

Abilities: As the tribe's Shaman, she is capable of casting spells and performing religious rites, and knows of all the oral traditions and lore that has been passed down through the generations. However, weaving magic is difficult and many of her abilities are mild in their effects, and as a young Shaman she has not yet learned very many spells at all. At present her list of magical capabilities are:
Maintaining the Sacred Fireplace, which represents the well being of the tribe and needs wood once per week.
Performing Fertility Rites, for crops and goblins alike and is mainly reserved for curing infertility.
Healing Magic, such as mending a broken bone. Something as extreme as reviving the dead is far beyond her.
Nature Communion, allowing her to learn general knowledge of the forest and those within it.

Property: Like all goblins of the tribe, she has few possessions of her own. At present, she is currently the owner of:
The Shaman's Temple, a hut like the rest of the village and home of the gods. The Sacred Fireplace resides here.
The Shaman's Necklace, a rabbit skull necklace that serves as a status symbol and wards away weak undead.

Name: Cyrus

Age: 5 (in chronological age) 25 (In human years)

Description: Fairly tall and strong as goblins go, standing around 3 feet 4 inches tall, with a head of dark green hair on top of his head, complimenting his medium-green skin. He weights about 35 pounds and is fairly muscular. His skin is already somewhat scarred on his chest, the result of injuries on the hunt. He has emerald-green eyes and is reasonably handsome, but nothing spectacular.

Like most goblin males, he is only clad in a loincloth. His only garment is made of deer hide and keeps him modest on both sides. He wields a long stone hunting knife along with a spear, but he has only a handful of possessions otherwise. Like most goblins, he barters with what he hunts, gathers, farms, or catches, and he's been thinking about getting an iron weapon in the not too distant future.

Background: Born to a modest litter of only four siblings, Cyrus was the eldest child by a few minutes, ahead of his younger brother and two younger sisters. As with all males in his tribe, he grew up without knowing or caring who his father is, although he suspected that each of his siblings had a different father from him, given how different they looked. Encouraged by his mother to go into farming, Cyrus lost patience for the quiet life of a wheat grower and has been a hunter for years now. Although he is good at hunting, he yearns for more glory than tracking and killing animals can provide, and yearns to go on a raid. His actual experience with warfare is limited, having only been involved in a single one-on-one skirmish with a rival tribesman in which neither party suffered more than light wounds which were easily healed by the tribe's shaman.

Abilities: Although he is a rather mundane goblin, Cyrus is a reasonably skilled hunter and tracker, able to find his way around the woods, climb trees, identify animal tracks, and has a good arm for a knife or sword. As with nearly his entire tribe, Cyrus is illiterate. His skill in hand-to-hand combat is decent in terms of the strength of his blows, but it is crude and not particularly coordinated.

Property: Apart from his hut, Cyrus owns a stone knife, his loincloth, a wooden spear with a stone tip, and he usually has some food in his hut for eating at any given time. He also owns a pile of straw as his bed and a blanket in case it gets cold. Cyrus is considering the purchase of an iron sword, but he needs to save up a little bit more in assets before he can afford it, given that an iron sword is nearly the most expensive item the goblins of his tribe can produce.

Name: Clelk

Role: Blacksmith

Age: 5

Description: Clelk is in one of the highest castes in the village, and it is clear that he abuses the privileges that come with this. He is fat, weighing nearly 50 pounds and standing at 3 feet tall. He has some decent muscles thanks to lugging around the heavy metal involved in his craft, but his cowardice and risk-aversion have barred him from being a potent warrior. His face is scarless and while not necessarily ugly, lacks any defining features that make him appear interesting. His yellowed teeth point at odd angles inside of his mouth. Clelk has no hair on his head, and despite having deep-set dark brown eyes, his glares seem a bit too predatory. His skin is a dark green and either covered in soot and ash or far too clean for a goblin in a village, based on the time of day that you look at him.

His clothing is arguably the most outlandish part about him - rather than wear simple loincloths or rags like his fellows, Clelk takes extreme care in his outfits, doing his best to mimic humans (although his attempts are shoddy at best). He wears a thick animal pelt as an apron while working, and his cloth shirt and pants are a far cry from the rags that most goblins wear. Even if they're impressive for a goblin, humans would find the outfit only slightly better than the rags that most of Clelks peers wear. He even sacrificed some of his copper in order to forge crude rings, which he has extreme pride in despite their poor craftsmanship.

Background: The runt of a litter of 5, Clelk was destined for mediocrity from birth. He held little hope for being anything other than a grains farmer, considering he was fearful of even rabbits, but he earned the sympathy of one of the village smiths due to his poor social standing. He was taken on as an apprentice, and this kindness led to the smith being one of the few goblins that Clelk respected. Clelk was quick to abuse his new power, raiding the granary stores and hoarding anything he created for himself, only giving them away in exchange for shinier or more useful tools. When he first saw human traders, in their wagons and adorned with fancy jewelry, he was filled with wonder and awe. He wished to be just like these immaculate creatures, leading to his strange clothes and utter fascination with human culture. One of the easiest ways to get something from him is to offer a bauble or trinket from the nearby human town, with shiny coins being able to earn as much as arrows and even spears.

Abilities: Clelk is the opposite of what is respected in goblin society - he is a coward and balks at the mere implication of danger or conflict. His abilities reflect as such - he is one of the best smiths in the village, if only for the status that such a skill affords him. Additionally, Clelk has experience cooking, although goblin cuisine is about as unrefined as one can be. When not at the forge or eating more than he deserves, Clelk usually fishes, either alone or with the older members of the village. As such, his skill in fishing far outweighs his hunting abilities. One of Clelk's strongest skills is his literacy - his desire to emulate humans has encouraged him to learn something that few, if any, other goblins in the village know. While he cannot be compared to a scholar, he can actually read messages and writing, something that even some humans are incapable of.

Reputation: Clelk is rude, abrasive, and overall not an enjoyable person to be around. This, combined with how he ransacks the granary to sate himself on a slow fishing day have left most others in the village feeling quite angry at him. Nonetheless, it is well known that he will do nearly anything as long as he is given something in turn, and he has been all too willing to offer his weapons to the warriors before a raid (in exchange for some of the loot). No female in her right mind would give him the time of day, even if he is a smith. He is typically much more respectful to elders and the higher ranking members of the tribe, especially the last shaman and his old master. He was very upset when the former passed away, and is unsure of how to feel about the new replacement.

Clelk is regarded much more highly by the human traders that occasionally visit than he is by his goblin peers, considering he usually treats them with much more respect than he does the other goblins in the village.

Property: Clelk has some of the most possessions out of anyone in the tribe, by simple virtue that he is greedy and can produce his own tools.
A Forge, albeit a very primitive and basic one. It works and is one of the few sources of iron tools and weaponry in the tribe.
A hut, completly unremarkable from its peers. It is stuffed with various baubles and trinkets that Clelk has made and traded for, as well as various weapons and tools that he plans to trade with.
A fishing rod, which has seen extensive use and will continue to do so. Average for a goblin, very basic for a human.
An iron pot, designed for humans to cook with. In the hands of a goblin, it allows for the creation of soups and other very basic dishes. This cost quite a few animal pelts, which in turn cost Clelk a decent number of weapons, but Clelk treasures it as one of his few human-made possessions.

Here's a side character I may also play.

Name: Larissa

Age: 6 years old (about 27 in human years)

Description: About 3 feet tall with light blue eyes and light green skin, with a head of long black hair. She dresses in a loincloth and top made of calfskin, a fancy material for the goblins. Personality-wise, she is kind, peppy, even bubbly, even to the point where this sometimes grates on the more dour members of the tribe. She is the closest thing the goblins have to a "city girl" as she rarely ventures into the woods, has no love of farming or fishing, and would rather spend time gossiping with other females about their relationships than worry about the food supply. She means well, but can come off as rather sheltered and out of touch with how things work outside of the village walls. Regardless, she is well-liked by most, given that she can make almost anyone feel good.

Background: Born as the fourth child of her mother's fifth litter, Larissa had no shortage of older siblings. As her mother is still fertile, she has no shortage of younger siblings either. As with most of the females in her family, Larissa took up the simple life of a farmer in the fields surrounding the village. Unsatisfied with the meager yields resulting from the primitive tools and overworked farmland, Larissa sought out another means of providing for herself. She tried her hand at fishing, gathering mushrooms and berries in the woods, and even sewing clothes, all to no avail.

Opportunity knocked when Larissa was asked to spend a few weeks with her mother and aunts. One of the latter was undergoing a difficult pregnancy and needed extra care from her sisters. It was from her aunts that she learned how to give massages to treat a variety of conditions, including muscle tension, certain injuries, as well as how to alleviate stress. After a healthy delivery, Larissa left the other females and offered her services as a masseuse to other goblins, offering a rubdown in exchange for whatever it is they can offer, be it food or items which she can barter with. She spends most of her days in the village, and rarely leaves the round wooden wall which protects the settlement.

Abilities: Larissa is only skilled at giving massages, but she is easily the best at what she does in the entire village. At least 90% of the goblins in the village have been into her hut at some time, seeking pain relief, a distraction from their stress, or some more involved work to help with an injury.

Property: Outside of her hut, Larissa prides herself on not needing anything to make a living with besides her skilled hands. As such, she owns a loincloth, a top piece, and a woven reed mat to sleep on, along with a single imported luxury from the human lands: a pillow stuffed with goose feathers. She also has a simple wooden massage table, on which the pillow rests. While this is technically more than just her hands, she intentionally avoids using anything like lotions or oils, and she is perfectly capable of giving a massage on the ground or while a goblin is standing up or sitting down. Any other trinkets she keeps in the hut are quickly exchanged for food, which she either eats herself or gives to her many family members who need extra nutrition.

Name: Chief (Koik)

Age: 6 (about 27-30ish)

Description: Standing at three feet, Koik is a thick, muscular goblin, with deep emerald skin, poisonous green eyes, and black/green hair. He wears a loincloth, a chieftains headdress made of stone and wood, and his iron sword on his back, his most prized possession. He enjoys brawls, as they let him prove his strength and savagery.

Background (Still in progress): His personality tends to sway depending on who you are, and how much drink he's downed. He's a powerful fighter, and enjoys studying others fighting, to learn their habits and techniques to better fight them, if necessary. He hides his insecurities about his leadership by dueling anyone who challenges him. He currently has no romantic interests, and is suspicious of the blacksmith Clelk and his ambitions. He follows any counsel he can from the elders and Jig, the tribe shaman. He enjoys tending to the worgs, and studying their savagery. Gahji is a strange goblin in his eyes, but he seems to be able to talk to the worgs, to communicate with them a a deep level, so he just lets him mind his own business. He trains with his sword on a daily basis.

Abilities: A relativity powerful fighter, he can pick out weak spots on others by observing their movements for a few minutes.

Property: Central hut in the village, his iron sword, a black ring with a strange symbol on it that he can't decipher, a small food stash, and a bed.

Is there anything else I need to add?

Gahji & Bhatu

Or

9 & 13

Gahji is a bit unlike the others of his tribe. Sure he is a little shorter than average but it’s not that, nor is it the fact that he was birthed in the cold muds of the worg pen and accidentally left there, (these things happen) but it’s because he not only stayed out there for many nights but he also survived.

Despite being viscous predators a worg mother has quite a nurturing side. One good enough to sustain a goblin infant. It was days before Gahji was found and by then him and Bhatu had already formed quite the bond. Because of this connection Gahji spends most his time with the animals and looks up to the worg pack leaders more so than he does some of the tribal warriors who pass off their sheer luck as valiant skill. He is less interested in and driven by the pursuit of fame and honour that comes with being a notorious warrior and is more content on just getting by, playing, exploring and fishing.

Gahji is consider peculiar or dumb by his peers (which greatly hinders his breeding chances) but that’s simply because they don’t understand him. Spending so much time with the animals has left his social skills lacking behind his years. Still, he is a curious thinker and one who is interested in the wider world. He lacks some of the greed associated to his kind but has a temper as strong as any other, with an animalistic malice and thirst for vengeance to top it off.

If worgs are no good I’d be happy to have a wolf or wild dog instead.

Name: Talik (Tal)
Role: young adult/no defined role yet
Age: 3 (Chronologically) / 16 (Human Equivalent).
Description: fairly small for a male, standing at just under 3 feet, with light green-gray skin and an unusual mess of bright ginger hair that falls to about his mid-back and obscures much of his face. His eyes are a vibrant sky blue, but that can rarely be seen from under his hair. He is a bit on the chubby side, with a soft belly and thick thighs- enough to hide his lean muscle, but not enough to outright call him fat. He wears an unusual amount of clothing for his gender, with a layered loincloth/kilt of crudely-cured animal hides and a similarly rough top. His outfit also includes some adornment, mainly of feathers, primitive beads, animal furs and tails, and bones, and his ears are pierced with a couple pieces of discarded jewelry he found. His body is covered with abstract symbols, most of which he painted on himself with a semi-permanently-staining paint. He is occasionally mistaken for a female from a distance or by those not paying much attention, but upon a closer look it's obvious enough that he's male.

Background: Talik is one of an unusually large litter of 9 children, all boys. He spent much of his early life being bullied by his brothers, being somewhat of a runt comparatively, and as such never really developed the same aggressive, masculine personality as most of his brothers. Instead, he learned to explore and build on his own, which ultimately led him to develop a taste for art and crafting- clothing, paints, jewelry, and the like. Thus, his unusual style of dress is somewhat two-fold: firstly, that his more-covering clothes help to hide his lack of musculature, and secondly, that it allows him to better express his craft and aesthetic (is he a hipster goblin? he might be). Now, as he is about the age where he is ready to actually enter adulthood, he finds himself uncertain what role within the tribe he wants to take.

Abilities: Talik is quiet, agile, and sure-footed, making him quite stealthy whether when moving through the forest or through the village- in fact, he often sneaks up on others by accident. This would, in theory, make him a good hunter, but he doesn't quite have the patience to stalk prey, nor the strength and accuracy to effectively draw a bow or dispatch an animal more directly. Similarly, he does not have the patience for hunting. He is curious and intuitive, and a mild interest in plants means that he may be a good farmer- maybe even helping to increase the effectiveness of farming- but as always, he doesn't really have the attention span for it. He's clever enough and decent in a 1x1 scrap, but only if he has the element of surprise or tools at his disposal; he would probably lose a dirt pit brawl based on strength. As such, he does occasionally like to start fights out and about in the village or in the woods, where he has the ability to maneuver.

Property: his clothing, some additional jewelry (and supplies to make it), and his bed in his mother's hut.

Finished!

Zark the Ferocious

"Enjoy life, time little!"

________________

Age: 5
Role: Apothecary/Trapper
Warband Role: Scout/Reconnaissance

________________

background:

Zark was born kicking; both the siblings and the mother. Though the goblin may have been the runt, the little greenskin soon was to be the top gobo in the hierarchy of siblings. Though mistake not, for it wasn't strong. Not compared to those firstborn of the litter; no, Zark was fierce. A trait that would not leave ever from this runt's heart.
Though as the squirt grew the temper dwindled until it lay dormant inside Zark, only to surface when socializing and battling. For as the goblin grew the gobo found his curiosity was a much more powerful force. For often during the creature's brief apprenticeship as a leatherworker would Zark be lead astray by some eye candy... Whether it be bug or rock.
Zark grew to be a wild creature, but of cunning a bit unknown to most. If given an environment to let the mind lead astray from its host's fierce ambitions, the attitude would change to scheming quite quickly. Though both traits had given the goblin many troubles... Troubles causing broken friendships and a view of a child never fully matured.

property:

stone spear, outer hut, religious feathers, pearls, iron bracelets, clothing rags, plethora of odd bugs and rocks, firewood, sling, charcoal, parchment (traded with merchant for)
