Name: Vilkas Excellion
Age: 132
Race: Dragon
History: Vilkas grew up among his kin on the Shattered Isles. His birth was noted by a strange shift from the anomaly holding up his grandfather's home, as well as the ambient mana in the area. A hybrid black and red dragon, he has powerful fire magic in his dragon form, and in his human form, trades defense for a rare and powerful form of runic magic known as Wyrd, which has many applications from defense, offense and utility. He studied this magic under the tutelage of the Oldest dragon to ever live, Dromon himself. The Elder Dragon was very interested in his magics, and made sure he knew how to use the rare one he had.
At the age of 60 he passed his Rite of Passage through the Trial of Life and traveled to the mainland to seek his Pilgrimage. he traveled for a few decades before settling in the City. He stunned the Peacekeepers when they detected that the rather unassuming tall humanoid was actually a dragon. This event sparked many attempts to study him as dragons are extremely rare and they'd never seen a Black dragon.
Strengths:Dragonskin: Vilkas is very difficult to wound when in his dragon form, and body is resistant to most forms of damage as a human and is extremely fire and frostproof in both forms as a Black dragon. He also has a higher natural regeneration
Web of Wyrd: Vilkas' vast well of mana enables him to cast stronger and more potent magic. As a Human his mana regeneration is enhanced.
Dragon Sense: Vilkas has heightened senses in both forms, though his Dragon form has a slightly decreased sense of touch due to his scales.
Weaknesses:Arrogance: Vilkas believes that he'll win nearly every fight he's in and that his magic is greater than any other.
Rebellious: Vilkas can be a bit excessive, as on the Island all pursuits are generally welcome and he's prone to defying authority.
Blood Magic: While the stronger form of Wyrd Runes use blood, the drawback to them is it uses the very lifeforce of the caster, which has nearly killed the dragon before. Another downside is that when bleeding as a dragon he leaks mana, which leads to his blood being a rare commodity for alchemists. He tends to have to set his blood alight so that it cannot be used.
Mana Void: A downside of Wyrd is that it is heavily mana dependant, which can empty his reserves, forcing him to use other means of fighting.
What's a weapon?: Vilkas has very little weapons training as he's only learned to fight with magic, claw and flame.
Sentinel: N/A
Extra: Vilkas left the Isles to find and study ancient Lore, leading him to the city. He can speak almost any language. He is also a very good bard.
