Winter looks back at Devon. "The first time Arthur died."

"Ah. That explains your....antics."

Winter chews her lip, and her eyes tear up. "Are you heard in the shadows?"

"Have you ever heard me in the shadows?" He looks at her curiously. "They're silent to all but necromancers." He extends his hand. "They are freezing however."

Winter nods and takes his hand. "I don't care. I just need to talk."

He nods, and walks with her into the darkness. "What do you need to talk about? And tell me if you get too cold, I can take you to a apartment or somewhere warmer."

Winter follows him, and she promptly puts her head on his chest and begins to sob.

He holds her, and softly rubs her back. "You'll be ok Winter. Just get it all out."

"Y-you'd kill m-e if I told y-you what hap-pened," Winter gasps, coughing for air between her sobs.

"No. I wouldn't. Tell me, it's killing you." He sighs. "I'm not one to judge. I've done bad things before. Get it off your chest Winter." He looks at her in worry.

"I-" Winter sobs. "I killed him," she whispers. She wraps her arms around herself, crying.

"Arthur?" He doesn't seem that surprised. "Why? Again?"

Winter frowns. "I didn't kill him the first time, but I killed the man who had slit his throat. Arthur asked me to kill him because he wanted to be free of Sekhmet and the only way he would be is in death."

"Ah." He hugs her. "I seem to be becoming a unwitting therapist. Hum, who knew?"
