Ms. Campos glares at Charlie. "I am Winter's mother and I have more of a right to be here than you so you better care!" She rounds on Jacob. "And you. What are you, a satanist?" she sneers at the markings on his tie, and Ivy steps in front of him her face set in cold fury. "I have tolerated you for far too long, Ms. Campos. You degrade my friend after taking everything she's worked for as your own, you get her press by publicly humiliating her on what's supposed to be the best day of her life, and now you've attacked my fiance while he's done nothing to you."
Winter smiles at them. "Thank you, so much."
The poor minister looks as though he's about to pass out.
In the chaos, a voice cuts through, quiet but clear. "Excuse me, I believe I have a say in the matter." All eyes turn to the speaker... Derek.
Ms. Campos looks triumphant. "Why of course! Finally, a sound mind to put this all to-"
"You didn't let me finish. I object," Derek replies. To Winter's shocked face, he smiles kindly. "Your an amazing woman, Winter, but that's the thing." Winter tilts her head as he smiles at the group. "Thank you, you've set me free." When as he says that, he turns and kisses his best man. He breaks the kiss with a smile. "Where do you want to celebrate?" With that, Derek kisses Winter's cheek, wishing her luck, and they dash off.
