Winter looks away, anywhere but at him. She heats the leftovers and brings the plate back with two forks. “Hungry?” She offers him a fork. “I know it will take me longer to sober up, but I’m starving.” ’For a little loving apparently.’ ‘Seriously?’
Winter starts to eat a little, then stands up and sets her fork down. “Excuse me,” she says calmly, her drunken state enunciating her British accent. She goes to the bathroom and closes the door, promptly beginning to regurgitate the food she’d just had.

Winter cringes away from his touch at first, uncomfortable with someone seeing her so vulnerable, and not at her best. Then, as tears begin to fall down her face, her body sags, exhausted and empty.
she smiles and nods. "I think i know why Artemis has never taken an interest in you....You have a darkness she can never hope to understand.....Something i can....She's excepted that you deserve some one like yourself....' she said to him with a smile. "The only darkness she likes is when shes going on treasure hunts in the sea." she said to him. "She's excepted you for yourself and she knows you deserve to have someone better than her." she said with a smile.
"You're right. How could others understand the dark? Rational creatures fear it, because of my father." He reaches into the darkness, letting his hands runs though it like water. "It's my home." He smiles at her.
