Crystal quickly finishes the book with a soft smile, the expression cracking open the walls she hide behind. “Such interesting creatures,” she murmurs, selecting a book on political history.
Crystal finishes her books, and could read all day, but she remembers the other destinations. “How much longer could we read if we’re to see the other spots?” She has trouble saying the last word, trying to sound more human.
Crystal nods thoughtfully. “For a certain amount of time. Two weeks.” She sighs and puts a loving hand on the stack of books she read. “Goodbye, my friends,” she mutters under her breath solemnly.
Crystal chews her lip a little and looks at him with a nod. That wasn’t the reason she was saying goodbye, but he couldn’t know. Soon, she finishes her books. “To the government offices.”
Crystal closes her eyes and starts to spout off facts about the building, as well as what every room was for, and about the current mayor. When she finishes, she opens her eyes and frowns faintly. “May-or. That’s a strange word.”
