Zenith tilts her head. “The girl that rents this place out. Asian-looking girl, but a little pale? I’d say about 15-16.” She frowns and looks around. “This is the place under her name, isn’t it?” she murmurs to herself.

With a slightly playful snarl, Carra makes her way over to Lynn, takes the knife out of his pocket and puts it between her teeth. “Mine,” she says, then drops to the ground, her hands and feet returning to normal. “Thank you.”

Zenith recognizes his expression and chews the inside of her lip, curiosity gnawing at her. “If she goes by another name, we’ll need to know,” she says carefully.

Carra strokes the blade lovingly. “We’ve been through a lot together, this knife and I. We’re the best of friends and we always find each other,” she jokes, then she shrugs. “You’d know better than anybody that you learn to notice every little movement when your on the street.”

Zenith frowns faintly, then she glances around. She leans in. “Okay, off the record, what’s going on? I won’t tell anyone, I promise.”

Carra observes him as he approaches, then she presses a button, triggering multiple tools and blades to projects from her knife. “It’s a tanto blade multi-purpose, like a Swiss Army. Just a little something-something I pilfered a while ago.”

Zenith’s eyes widen and she jerks back a little. She grabs his arm and pushes his sleeve back, and when she doesn’t see a mental hospital admission bracelet, she tries the other arm. Then she laughs nervously. “Your kidding me, right? Or.. or do you actually believe that?” Her voice gets quieter and she again fidgets with her silver necklace, a gift supposedly from her birth father before he left without a trace, except for ‘memories’ that landed her mother in a mental hospital.

“Hey! Jerk!” Carra calls after him, then she takes a shortcut and tackled him from the shadows. She lands on top in full mount, her feet pinning down his legs and her forearms on his arms, her body pressed into his, her face close to his. “I said ’mine’.”

Zenith's fingers trace the familiar angles of the lightning-bolt shaped pendant, and she tilts her head a little, as if he were a puzzle she's trying to figure out. "Then who would you be?"

Carra frowns faintly, tilting her head. "Does that include people?" she says quietly.

Zenith takes calming breaths, remembering what her counselor had said on how to deal with her mother's delusions. She manages a small smile and she nods. "Okay, well it's nice to meet you, Barry, but I must be on my way." As her nerves climb, Zenith starts to gasp for air, and she coughs, struggling to breath as her emotions accidentally triggered her powers, thinning out the air.

Carra smiles faintly. "Good, I don't like being owned. So I'll take this." She pries her dagger out of his hand, the motion lowering her body ever so slightly.

Lynn chuckles "well I don't like owning people " he says and gets his elbows underneath him then props himself up

Zenith starts to cough more violently, and her hand goes to her throat. She closes her eyes and starts to take deep breaths, then her powers flare when he says 'demigod'. She finally regains control long enough to gasp, "What?"

Carra blushes faintly when their faces are close enough that one move and they would be touching. She clears her throat. "Well hello," she says quietly.

Zenith closes her eyes, breathing deeply and regaining control of her breath. She places a careful hand on his chest, and she restores the air to its normal density. "Sorry," she murmurs, stepping back.

"If I help you with your kleptomania, will you keep your paws off my knife?"
