Lennon raises her eyebrows and walks past Murphy. She looks at Ben, her eyes flashing silver. She walks into the kitchen and pours herself some water.

Carra remembers what Murphy had said, and she pauses. She turns around with a faint smile, her eyebrows raised slightly. “Hey. Whatcha been up to?”

Carra raises her eyebrows, her grin widening a little. “Well that’s weird.” She toys with the ring, then she realizes that it’s his. She pries it off of her finger, and hands it to him. “This is yours.”

Lennon sips some water. “Because I’m a decent human being, and it’s Arizona. Hitchhiking is as normal as breathing around here,” she walks past him, then she grins faintly over her shoulder. “Besides, a little voice told me I he’s special, and special people intrigue me.”

Carra fingers the ring, then she looks up at him. “Are you sure?” She puts it in his hand. “Maybe you should give it to someone who deserves it.”

Carra sighs and takes it back. “There.” She shoves it onto her finger. She looks away, then in his eyes. “How long are we doing this?”
