That's good! And it's not terrible, but I'm spending almost all my free time this weekend trying to get ahead in my online class ^^; There's sooooo much homework, it's kind of ridiculous. And each assignment takes about an hour to complete, so I'm not even a full week ahead yet after all the work I've put in since Friday.

Same. It's gonna be a mess. I'm also enjoying writing Caspian's character, because most of the male characters I make are a lot more rough and tough xD He's very opposite since he's so compassionate, but I like navigating his thoughts and feelings.

Sure! Honestly, the meeting could even happen during the current night. I was thinking that since it sounds like Ethan came to the capital to find out what happened to Iris, he'd be lingering around the palace (btw, it really is a palace, but Cas doesn't like to think of it as one, which is why I refer to it with words like mansion/estate/home in my posts). If Ethan bypasses security and gets inside at night, maybe he and Iris could run into each other? Her room is on the first floor, so he could even get in through her window. That's probably the only way they could find each other, since Cas won't be leaving the palace until all the rebels are recaptured for his own safety.

As for how he could get past security, we could say that the rebels got their hands on some advanced military tech by intercepting a shipment to the capital. Ethan could have clothes that are designed to mask his heat signature from infrared cameras and stuff like that ^^

Oh also, the call that came in to Cas in my last post was going to be an update from Jacob announcing that two of the prisoners (we could say there were four total including Ethan, if that sounds good to you) were found in the city and returned to the holding cell for continued interrogation.

Ohhh really? That must be quite the change! I must admit it's nice playing someone with no memories, it kind of feels like a new canvas to mould almost? I'm loving it! The excitement of the small memories or new feelings, it's kind of fun!

Ohhhh how about Ethan sneaks into her room? As you said it's on the first floor and because the room is for guests he would expect it to be empty? That's when he bumps into Iris!

Are we going to have them kidnap Cas that night maybe?

Ooo yes! Maybe those two prisoners for example get left behind? It would be interesting to see how Cas changes when he is back from the whole kidnapping!

I bet! I've never tried an amnesiac character, but I've written characters with other mental conditions before, and it's a lot of fun ^^ Although I'm also a psychology nerd, so I love exploring the depths of the brain in all its altered states, haha.

I like that idea! If he and the other rebels had blueprints of the palace then it would make a lot of sense for Ethan to try that.

I was also thinking that the kidnapping could come later (not too long, but a few days at least). It could leave some room to see what happens with Cas and Iris when she's got plans to turn on him. Also, if she harbors Ethan in her room, that would also be pretty interesting too!

As for the prisoners, they would definitely get left behind ^^; I was thinking that after the interrogators get through with them, Cas and/or Atlas would publicly announce their execution, which could also cause some tension between him and Iris, since those are her people.

I love exploring different levels of the mind too! It makes it so much more interesting!!

Ohhhh I love it! Harbouring him in her room whilst trying to be normal with Cas and even though she would deffo want to kiss him the whole Ethan aspect makes it much more difficult.

I was thinking it could take a few days to sway her into kidnapping him too! Because of all the help and everything he has done for her!

Oh gosh this is going to get so interesting! I'm super excited :3

That's what I was thinking ^^ It would put Iris in a really tough spot.

As for the kidnapping, maybe it would be better for Cas to be the one to announce the prisoners' execution then! If Iris saw him do that, maybe it would push her over the edge to agree with Ethan.

On one side we have poor Iris breaking down over this all whilst poor Cas is tired from the intruders but probably still buzzing from the kiss xD

I reckon if Cas makes that decision it will sway her to agree with the kidnapping haha

In my next post, I can either take it to when Cas wakes up or throw something in where he gets woken up early (like overhearing his father wake from his nap down the hall and go into a rage when he finds out what happened while he was drugged). Just let me know what you prefer, so I don't rush you if you're not ready for the morning yet!

It's manageable so far! I've got another class to go to in a couple minutes, and then I'm planning to try to spend the rest of today catching up on posts. I've got 5 partners waiting on me right now, oof. Usually I've only got a couple active at a time, but I got stormed xD
