No worries! I've had a busy day, so I probably won't be doing much writing until later in the afternoon. I have to take my car to the shop soon and go to a couple meetings.

It was really good, there was a pub open where we could order take away drinks and it had like a garden area were we could all sit. It was a lot of fun and I had a great evening :3

Yesterday was good. Just had a lot going on with the new house. We finally got loan approval all squared away though, so we're ready to close next week! ^^

Sorry it's taking me a little longer to reply. I started on a post yesterday but lost motivation. My brain tends to bounce around a lot to different things when I get excited about something (in this case, officially buying the house) so I have a really hard time staying focused xD I wrote a paragraph, then watched Netflix, played with my dog, went out for dinner, bought a hammock, and did a bunch of other stuff lmao Anticipation makes me almost hyperactive.

Thanks! And yeah, I'm also distracted because we're starting to work with the designers in town who are gonna do the few remodels that we wanted :D I used to work for them when I interned at a local design center three years ago, so it's like catching up with old friends. We're meeting up again today to go over the flooring options (the carpet in the house right now is old and stained, so we're tearing it out). I enjoy design a lot (obviously, since it was my major, haha) so I'm excited.

Yeah I can bet you're excited! As you said it's what you've worked in before with your major and this is going to he your home so it's probably just that little bit more exciting :3

We're just replacing old materials, mostly. The carpets are gonna be engineered wood, the oak cabinets will be maple, the composite countertops will be quartz and/or granite. We're just upgrading it to a more contemporary style :)

Yeah, I like them all a lot, so it's been fun to catch up.

I'm home now, so I'll try to get my post done soon!

Sorry that one took a while! My husband got back from a work trip and said one of his coworkers came down with symptoms of the virus, so I spent a while getting set up in our spare room because we have to social distance from each other now :c

So far he's fine. His coworker is the only one who's sick. We'll find out on Tuesday if she tested positive for Rona. I'm really hoping she tests negative, because if she tests positive, then he'll have to get tested, and then I might have to get tested ^^; It'll be a mess.
