Catherine sighed. She was about to walk off when she tripped and fell. Her dress ripped at the knee a bit.

Jory's reflexes were slow. He helped her up. "havent learned to walk?" he teased her and smiled "come on at least its warm and dry" he said "look you can give me a number near your place if your worried" he says

Aj honked the horn and yelled out the window "Come on Jory get your ass in" he says "or im leaving you here to walk back to campus"

Catherine blinked. She sighed and ended up taking him up on his offer in the end.

He hugs her softly, and kisses her cheek.

Jory walks her over to the car and opens the door. "consider us your uber for tonight" he gave her a smile then walked around and got in. "oh by the way Im jory this is my buddyd AJ" he said "and you are?" he asked

Aj looked int he review mirror at her and narrowed his eyes slightly. "where too?" he asked

Catherine sighed a bit after she was inside the car.

She then narrowed her eyes at Aj and pointed in the direction of the larger buildings.

Jory turned to look at her "you have to be happy not to be walking the whole way. My friend and I go to the university there. How about you?" He asked her

He sighs happily, and blushes, quickly moving his hand down so he's not touching her anywhere uncomfortable.

"Ever since that vampire showed up. My father was the mayor before then. Then....things happened. I have been working at that office ever since."

JOry looked at Aj then back to her "um okay so then why havent you been back to the college?" he asked "hasnt that thing calmed down, he isn't out to get us humans anymore" he says

Aj glanced in the mirror to see her face "we can help youif you want" he says

Jory looks at her Aj and Aj just shrugged.

"My mother needs me. My father...passed on last month...and I am afraid to leave her alone in that house. She has had trouble finding work. I haven't had the time towards school or anything."
She frowned sadly.

Aj stopped at a light "what type of job does your mother do?" he asked

Catherine told Jory. She blinked and looked at Aj. She sighed and shrugged.
"the last job she had it was as my fathers' assistant but circumstances changed as I have pretty much said."
