Aj sat down "well i looked over the roof and damages, i will need more then 4 days i believe if that is okay?" he says "you have rotted boards on the roof that will need to be replaced and i wont actually know how much until i get all the shingles off it" he says. "i promise this wont cost you anything but a lunch" he gave her a smile. "if there is anything else you can think of that needs repaired i would be happy to do it for you" he told her "no cost" he gave her a smile.

Jory followed her around getting the tour.

The woman simply nodded. She looked like the world had aged her quite a bit.
"Yes, thank you."

Catherine stopped in her tracks.
"Did you mean around the house?"

jory looked at her and smiled "yep" he says to her

Aj smiled at the women. "alright so i will be back in 2 days to start on the roof"

The woman simply nodded.

Catherine sighed and nodded.
"ok."
She showed him around. The kitchen was a mess, a door coming off the cabinet. The rugs looked dirty, as did the carpet. The walls needed painting. Etc. Catherine hoped that Jory wouldn't notice all that.

he looked around as she showed him the house. He noticed a few things that needed fixed and would make a note to tell Aj about them when they were alone. He gave her a smile "it a nice house" he told her

Aj looked at the women smiled as he got up. "He Jory where ya at?" he called out

She sighed.

The mother remained sitting on the couch.

He look at Catherine "well seems as AJ has news" he turned and met his friend in the hallway.

Aj looked at Catherine "well i ecplained things to your mom, he says its going to take me more then 4 days there were soft spots in your roof that will need completely replaced" he told her "i will be back in 2 days to begin the work though, i just need to gather materials" he told Catherine. "will you be here?" he asked

"I have nowhere else to go unless I have to go shopping."

he nods "alright, well i guess you will see me in 2 days" he says "I told your mom to make a list of things that need fixed, im a good handy man" he says

Jory looked at Aj "Come on, whats with the brown nosing?" he says

Aj rolled his eyes "get over it, if she was into you she would say something" he says and looks at Catherine, "sorry, he can dense sometimes" he says

Aj laughed at Jory "come on romeo, i think we have intruded enough for today" he says and steers his friend to the door.

Jory looked at his friend then back at catherine "see ya in a few days" he said to her and gave a wave before he opened the door.

She finally allowed herself to blush after that.
