[IC] A serious supernatural problem

"I want you to be happy. I want your town to be happy. But....they're all scared of me."

"you weren't exactly Mr nice guy when you said you were taking over, that there was a price to be paid."
Mary frowned.

[Shadow Dragon]

He shrugs. "They owed me a debt. They couldn't pay, so their land was repossessed until they can pay it off. How is that different then any other landlord?" He laces his fingers together. "Besides, the land was mine to begin with. The manor, and the lands around it, all belonged to my parents. I'm their only child, so the manor, and everything around it, legally belongs to me. I just found a way to take my inheritance back."

Mary sighed.
"you took over the whole town. and none of the property you took legally belonged to you. The so called debt was merely favors not money!"
She looked away.

[Shadow Dragon]

His eyes flash a bloody red. "I wanted to give your town something to fight for. I acted rashly, true, but I thought they'd react differently. And I did solve their problems."

[Vampiretwilight]

Mary teared up when she saw his red eyes.
"I...i'm sorry."

[Shadow Dragon]

He looks at her, his eyes back to normal. "What's wrong?" He moans sadly. "I'm doing it again, aren't I? I'm acting like a monster."

"You're eyes turned red. I thought you were angry."
Mary looked away.

[Shadow Dragon]

He gives her a tight lipped smile. "I was. But with myself. Who am I, to think I can just walk in on others lives? Who am I, to pursue love with one who might not wish it?"

Mary took a step closer, closing the distance completely. She leaned in and rested her head against his chest.

He hugs her, and gently rubs her back.

Mary wrapped her arms around him.

He laughs softly, almost sadly. "Thank you, for caring enough to listen." He kisses her gently.

Mary kissed him back. A strong connection was forming.

He sways with her, still deep in the kiss.

Mary allowed it as the kiss continued. There was true affection at that moment.

He begins gently nibbling on her lower lip.

Mary let out a soft sound as he did that, smiling.

He runs his fingers though her hair, his other hand on her back, and dips her back slightly.

Mary smiled into the kiss. Her eyes were closed. She had her arms around him.
