He looks surprised. "What did I say?"

Mary tried not to smirk.

"Ah." He looks at her with a grin. "Oh, fine, you can laugh. I can tell you're holding it in."

Mary rolled her eyes.

He smiles, and gestures to the books. "You can pick one to read."

Mary looked around and picked up a book that looked like Harry potter and the sorcerers stone.

He looks at it. "I've never read that series. What's it about?"

[Vampiretwilight]

Mary did her best to explain.

He listens carefully, but still seems confused. "It follows the shenanigans of a group of adolescent wizards and their struggles against a man with a broken soul? The ending sounds so....unsatisfactory."

[Vampiretwilight]

Mary blinked.
"how so?"

[Shadow Dragon]

"The villain just....dies. No dramatic plummet off a cliff, no surprise as his weapon is turned on him by a trusted servant. He just dies."

[Vampiretwilight]

"Are you kidding me? The two have a fight to the death."
Mary frowned.

[Shadow Dragon]

"They both take one shot, and the villain dies immediately."

Mary frowned, set the book down, and crossed her arms.

"Did that not describe the ending?"

[Vampiretwilight]

"I love the series."
Mary pouted.

[Shadow Dragon]

He sighs. "But it sounds so boring." He grins slightly. "You're so cute when you're pouting."

Mary sighed and frowned. She didn't respond to the compliment. She turned away.

He hugs her. "Do you not like me poking fun at it?"
