He smiles. "Where do you want to go?"

Mary shrugged.

"Can you think of anywhere you'd like to go?"

Mary shook her head no.

"Do you have a favorite restaurant or something?"

"Do you like walks?"

Mary shrugged.

He sighs. "I don't know what to do. I don't know what it's like to be human. How do you think? How do you feel?"

"You would actually risk going into town?"

"I never risk anything when I go into town. Everyone's just scared of me, so there's little point in doing so."

Mary sighed and nodded.

"They fear me, because I'm different, and I've never given them reasons to trust me."
