She smiles, and laughs softly. "This is the most fun I've had in eons. Don't worry, he can't hear you. How do you feel about him dear? Be honest with me."
Amber looks at her. "Ive never heard of it." She said to her. She grabbed a large spoon and too a taste. "Oh! This is good....tho i need some pepper thats just my taste." She said to her
Del looks at her and turns pink. "I really REALLY like him." She said to her. "I mean....i want him to work by my side....i dont know how to explain this!!!" She said to her.
Amber nods. "I grow up for a bit with my moms African friend....she would make things so fucking spicy....but i got used to it...came to love it infact....then she died...and i was out on the streets..." she said loseing herself for a moment. She shaked herself out of it. "Sorry...forget what i just said." She said to her.
Del looks at Asa. "Wait! How can you tell?" She asks then sighs as she sees her leaving.
"So you have feelings for my host. Good to know. You seem like a nice girl, dear. Don't break his heart now." She smiles, and her eyes flare dangerously. "I don't like it when others hurt my hosts."
"I told you, I can smell it. Besides, I'm weird, I'm not an idiot. I see the way you look at him, and I heard you talk about him and now you look like a tomato." Asa shrugs. "Can't he basically hear you?"
Del turned bright pink. She the throw the covers over her head.
Amber sighed. "Something like that." She said to her as she got the bowls out and helped her poor some soda and tea out for everyone. "You want me to call them?" She asks her
“No it’s fine. This is mainly for Levi but everyone can help themselves.”
Sorcha comes into the kitchen. “I smelled food.”
Asa rolls her eyes. “Stop being so damn shy. You like each other, you both know it, so someone has to make the first move unless you’d like to be stuck in this phase forever.” She shrugs. “It’s up to you.”
"I've been telling him that for a while now, to just skip the whole awkward part of 'what if', and get right into the happy, juicy bits of a relationship!" She laughs softly.
Asa nods. “Well yeah. You have to remember, if I was normal I’d be dead a long time ago. In my lifetime that’s the only way girls survived, through their children. I died before I could have any, but that survival instinct still drives me.”
Asa laughs. “I didn’t take you for a naughty goddess. I didn’t need a second voice besides my mother’s scolding me for spending me more time with my sheep than with the village boys. ‘You can’t have sex with a sheep’ she’d say.”
"Not many do. Which is unfortunate, because I enjoy having long, fun nights every now and then. Even as a goddess, you can't have everything you want." He shrugs.
