Marin frowns softly. "You're different. You see things differently than most humans, believe things others call insane,... but the part that caught my attention was that your not afraid to show that you're different. You embrace it in everything you do. I... I guess I thought you were like me. And you are, just not in the way I originally thought." Heat grows in her cheeks and she sighs. "Same question."

Eric frowned. He blushed again.
"Well, I....well, when I saw you in that diner, I sensed you were...well....different. I felt drawn to you in, well, in a way that I could not have been drawn to anyone else. You were...different...in a good way of course. You showed me that it was ok to be, well, unusual, unique I mean. I always hid my one eye because I was afraid of what people might think. But you? you didn't mind. You thought it was, well, nice. That is for starters."

Marin blushes and smiles softly. She kisses his cheek. “It’s your turn.”

Eric faintly smiled.
"well....what is your favorite food?"

Marin frowns. "Hmm... I don't know. Today's my first day living in this world so I dare say I haven't tried everything," she admits with a shrug. "So far... what's it called? Grilled cheese sandwiches are my favorite thus far."

Eric nodded. He faintly smiled.
"I don't have a favorite myself."

“Hmm... when is the day of your birth?”

"September 7th."
Eric told her his birthday.

Marin frowns faintly as she commits the date to memory, and then she waits for his question.

Eric chose to ask that.

Marin grins faintly. “You already asked that. Try again.”

eric sighed.
"...favorite....animal?"

Marin frowns. “Dragon, or in this world a horse. Do you want to stop?”

Eric shrugged.
"it doesn't matter to me."

Marin nods, yawning. "Good night. Maybe we can talk more tomorrow?"

Marin goes to her room and sighs as she settles on her bed. Soon, she's asleep.
