Welcome to my search thread! I'll keep the awkward intro part of the thread short and sweet, and just jump into what I'm looking for. I'm taking a break from school right now, so I've got a lot more time on my hands now. Please be patient with me and my writing while I shake off the dust :) All 1x1's will be written in PMs. Anyone interested should feel free to shoot me a PM. I don't bite... hard.
length
As far as post length goes, I'm pretty flexible. All I ask is for a minimum of two paragraphs with something substantial enough to work off of. That being said, I am capable of writing posts with character counts in the thousands. I love world-building, character development, and multi-dimensional characters. tldr; 2+ paragraphs. Casual - Advanced.
frequency
One post a week will be enough to keep me happy. Most of the time, I can reply daily or every other day. However, my activity revolves around my family and pets, work, and whatever else I've got going on IRL (too much!!) If I don't reply for over a week, feel free to poke me. Posting more than once a week isn't expected, but greatly appreciated. If you need to drop or pause our plot for any reason, let me know! tldr; 1 post per week minimum.
mature themes
I love love love mature themes. I'll be open with you about themes I do and don't want in the plot, and so should you! Writing is only fun if both of us are enjoying it.
character preferences
I can be flexible with gender and orientation. I don't play with or against canon characters.
discord
Although not a dealbreaker, having discord is nice. I think it's the easiest way to quickly plot and communicate, especially since I'm able to check there more often than here. Also, feel free to let me know on there if you've replied, it'll help me see it quicker.
romance
I understand that a lot of people like romance in their plots, which is fine by me as long as there is smooth character development.
plots
If you've made it through all that, kudos and thanks :) let's get into the fun part! • Cravings are italicized. • I'm not big on duplicate plots. Most of the time I'll close a plot after I've had enough inquiries, but some times I get more requests than I need before I get the chance to remove the plot. Just as a heads up, if I decline duplicates it's nothing personal! • Guidelines written in "*" indicate my preference, but are negotiable.
halloween shape shifter Modern Fantasy | Pairing: MxM, MxF | YC: Any | Mature Themes: Intimacy
It's a typical Halloween bash at Muse A's house. Every year, A hosts a blowout party to kick off the Fall holiday season. There's booze, music, and over-the-top costumes, as every good Halloween party should have. However, this year, the party has an... imposter.
Muse B recently moved into town, forced out of their last after their desperate attempts to guise their true identity failed. But tonight presents an opportunity the ostracized Muse B can't resist. The opportunity to mix with peers their age at a party where the objective is to drink until you drop.
Thinking the beer goggles and costume excuse will be enough to unload their burden for the day, Muse B attends Muse A's party. Things don't go according to plan, and with another stroke of poor luck, Muse B's identity is uncovered. This time, instead of disgust or fear, Muse B finds the eclectic Muse A is fascinated by his supernatural species and agrees not to expose them.
the princess and the lionheart Medieval + Fantasy | Pairing: MxF | YC: The Princess | Mature Themes: Intimacy, Violence, Angst
King Carlisle's daughter is nothing short of a force to be reckoned with. As strong-willed, sharp tongued, and mischievous as she is gorgeous and alluring, the King has kept a loose grip on the handful that is the princess. Taking her resistance to authority and inclination for finding trouble in his stride had been almost easy, up until now.
Arranged marriage was never the route the King envisioned for his daughter, knowing she'd never entertain the idea. However, Carlisle's neighboring kingdom and main commerce partner, the Kingdom of Forbia requested a marriage between their crown prince and Carlisle's daughter. Ultimately, the courtship did not pan out, and the alliance between Forbia and Carlisle is now dangerously rocky. Enough so for the king to question the safety of the princess.
The princess now has a ball and chain attached to her leg, one she's never experienced before. Knowing all too well his powerlessness to stop the princess' escapades but needing to ensure her protection, the king assigned his most trusted knight to her side. He's the opposite of her idea of fun, completely calculated, straight edged, and self-disciplined, and she's sure the lustrous exterior he puts on for everyone is a facade for an equally as ugly core. She's certainly not the most rewarding or enjoyable of his assignments, he's best at keeping his mouth shut and following orders.
It starts out harmless enough, the princess trying to see just how much he can take before dropping his goody two shoes front. Pushing him out of his comfort zone. 'Accidental' touches or glimpses. Easily explained away attempts at seduction. The princess knows she's protected by her status over him, and he's bound to inaction by his subordination. However, it seems the knight's supposed facade reaches to the horizon, because the knight never reacts how she expects him to, and never once indulges her advances.
It seems unresponsiveness only emboldens the princess, as she slowly tries harder and harder to get any sort of response from the bland knight. Her actions become more and more risque, her escapades more dangerous and spontaneous. The knight's nothing like she's ever experienced before, submissive but not groveling, and seemingly unswayed by her charms.
However, the knight's got his hands full. The princess is a breath of fresh air in his devoted lifestyle, and every so often there's just a shimmer of a nurturing from the princess, a feeling the knight is uncomfortably unfamiliar with. While her unexpected attempts at cracking his exterior are obstacle enough, it's the little things she does that the knight finds himself truly struggling to ignore.
• I have a lot of lore / world building for this plot, but I'm glad to change it as we'd like. • Level should be advanced, with longer posts. • If you don't want to play an assertive, forward female lead, then this plot probably isn't for you.
metropolis Futuristic | Pairing: MxM, MxF, or None (Negotiable, but strongly preferred) | YC: Any | Mature Themes: Intimacy, Violence, Language, Angst
Oh so foreseeably, inaction against overpopulation resulted in World War III, the war to finally end all wars. Each nation took a desperate last stand for resources and complete independency, ravaging each other and the land. Now all that lies behind are desolate wastelands and weakened empires that have managed to adapt to the new order of the world.
Almost a hundred years after WWIII, the Metropolis is one of the largest cities remaining, if you can even call it that. Formed in an attempt to find safety in numbers, several cities joined together to create the Metropolis. Five hundred square miles protected from raiders and hostile neighbors by concrete walls, the city that once united for survival is now its own greatest enemy. Wealth gaps have allowed those in power to stomp down the masses in pursuit of their own interests. For almost thirty years, the city has been divided into three circles. Inside the Inner Circle the one percent of the one percent live in luxury and comfort, leaving the impoverished masses of the Metropolis' population in the Outer Circle. Those who don't fall into one category or another reside in the Center Circle, away from the red light district-esque Outer Circle, but not always safe from its frequent raider attacks.
Enter Muse A, living every Metropolian's dream. Born in the Outer Circle, Muse A clawed their way to the top of the social ladder with only one goal in mind: to tear down every wealthy socialite that led to his family's fall, and then some. They now spend their days surrounded by people the wholly hate, covertly plotting their downfall. Patience is a virtue, and Muse A has plenty.
Their meeting with Muse B is by chance, in a shady bar at the outskirts of the Outer Circle. Muse B is a vigilante struggling to keep his head above water, and perhaps the only person who can match or even challenge Muse A's hate for the selfish wealthy. Though Muse A isn't a big name like some in the Inner Circle, Muse B's lived in the Outer Circle their whole life, and knows Muse A is out of their place. Muse B wasn't planning on murder that night, but they supposed they didn't have anything better to do.
Behind the bar, Muse A and B fight. Muse B realizes that there's more to Muse A than they realize, and Muse A sees that Muse B isn't just another self-defeating Metropolian. They may not know just how much they have in common, but they have a similar goal, and it's enough to keep them from killing each other just yet.
• Intimate scenes with NPC's (at least with my character, unless the two become exclusive) • I can't really see romance in this one as much as I do intimacy, but if the two click then I'm not opposed to it. • Generally, this will be very gritty and dark, make sure the above themes are ok as they will be very prominent. • This plot will be advanced, meaning world building, character development, in depth character sheets, etc. However, longer post count is appreciated although not required. • You should expect for our characters to be flawed and with an interesting take on morals. • Characters should be in their mid to high twenties.
If you don't see anything you like, feel free to PM me and we can plot together!
