Grimalkin — Roleplayer Guild

This is a MEDIEVAL [LOW] FANTASY plot.

Shapeshifter (MC) x Human (YC)

You are young. A teen, nearing adulthood. It's a beautiful spring afternoon. Your father takes you into the forest near your village to hunt, something you've been doing together for many years to bond and feed your family. There's been rumors these past few years of a young wolf who has  been terrorizing your people. You brush them off, as you and your father don't venture too far from the border, and have never seen signs of this supposed wolf before.

This day in particular, however, is different.

You are tracking a buck and miss your shot. The buck takes off deeper into the forest, and your father urges you to leave it alone. Stubborn, you ignore him, and take off after it, your father stumbling after you. The forest gets more and more lush, the trees and foliage making it harder to see where you're going. Inevitably, you fall flat on your face, which only frustrates you more. As you get up to reassess the situation, a loud growl rattles your bones, and you turn to see a large timber wolf behind you.

As soon as you make eye contact, the wolf does not hesitate and lunges at you. Fangs pierce flesh, and all of a sudden, the world becomes quiet.

You wake up minutes later, vision blurred, pain coursing through your head and entire body, blood trickling from your wound. Before you can even think about what happened, you see him.

Your father's lifeless body sprawled a few feet away from you, his limbs and neck mutilated. The wolf is nowhere to be found, but a small trail of blood is noticed on the forest floor and leaves, heading away from the scene. You are too distraught to care, and try to wake your father, but of course, he is already dead. Adrenaline rushes through your body, allowing you to ignore your own injuries as you sprint back to the village. Your physical wounds are tended to. But your heart aches for your father.

You vow to slay the beast who is responsible for his death.

BASICS
I will either do MxF or FxF. I do not have a preference. If it matters, my character is female.
I prefer PMs. One for RP discussion, the other for the actual RP.

POSTING
As I am getting back into writing, I can do 2+ paragraphs at the moment. Maybe more, depending on what's happening in the story at that time. 
I can manage at LEAST one post a week. That's at the very least. I may reply more frequently, it depends what I have going on. I work a full-time job and I am often busy hanging out with friends on weekends.

THEMES
Preferably 18+, as the story will be gritty, angsty, dark at times, possibility of death, etc. Romance is not out of the question. If it happens, it happens. I do not write smut and will fade-to-black, should our characters actually get that far.
