Ren shrugs. “I guess it was.” She clears her throat a little and jumps off of the counter and walks over to him. She looks over his shoulder at his work.
Ren blushes faintly again at his smile. “Friends huh? Well it’s too bad I don’t do friends, sure would be hella lot cheaper. So how much?” She looks away. “And why do you keep smiling like that,” she mutters.
“Well I’m a pro criminal, and I’ve done tons of things but what they caught me for was the one thing I’d never do: manslaughter. I was framed, but what’s it to them?” Ren shrugs, passing it off as just something that happens.
