Ren laughs and dances, cringing when a slow song comes on. "You've got to be kidding me."

"Wait!" Angelica runs after him.

He smiles gently. "Do you want to sit down, or dance with me?"

Quentin just grunts and walks out the door then makes a portal

Casper turns into human form and takes angelicas hand throwing her through the portal then dives into it

Elena rolls her eyes. "I wonder where Lukas is." She stands and goes to the forge and unlocks it. "Why was it-? Oh gods, Daniel! Are you okay?" Her eyes glow green as she says "Maw." Water A big wave of water pours over him.

Ren shrugs. "I guess we could dance."

Angelica yelps when she's thrown into the portal.

He gently takes one of her hands, putting his other hand on her waist, and starts slowly dancing with her.

Dani wakes up and tries to drink the water on the ground " oh thank the gods" he says

Quentin walks into his house and looks at a man and a woman

Casper pulls angelica down watching from the corner of a wall" shhh"

Elena frowns. "How long were you in here? Come on, let's get you inside."

Ren looks away, then she sighs briefly and lays her head on his shoulder.

Angelica frowns when she sees two adults with Quentin.

He slowly dances with her, moving in a gentle circle.

Ren sighs. "You do realize you have the pick of the club, right? And yet you're wasting your time with me."

Dani stands up " I was in there for five hours "

Casper watches

Quentin nods" hi mom hi dad" the mom makes a disappointed noise" Quentin markus Barton what have we said call us by our names Sheila and Thomas " Quentin grits his teeth " ..hi Shiela hi Thomas " the dad nods " son we have to leave soon why are you back I thought you were at that private school". Quentin nods " I am its actually going pretty go-" his dad waves him off "great Quentin but why are you here?" Quentins face falls " oh yeah I'm just getting some things from my room" the parents nod then walk out of the house.

Elena raises her eyebrows. "Come on. I'll run you an IV." She leads him into the house.

Angelica grits her teeth, her eyes flashing in anger.

Casper looks a little sick" my dad's fucked but damn at least he likes his kidis in a twisted and controlling way" he mutters

Quentin wipes his eyes then walks into his room and grabs a couple of things , a special red tie set gave him , a little statue of Leroy , a book on Egyptian monsters and finally a picture of his parents, him and Morgan at the beach the one time his parents ever looked happy to be with him.

Elena frowns. "You probably lost a lot of nutrients and- are those burns?" She takes his hands in hers. "Please. Let me do this. I need to do something."

Ren looks him in the eye. "You don't? I need to ask you something."

Angelica takes deep breaths. "If I see their gods damn faces one more time... I swear they won't have faces." She sighs. "He needs to open up to her about this."

Dani sighs " ok ok " he says and let's Elena treat him

Casper looks at angelica " yes because what his parents just did is totally something he wants to relive " he says with a wry smile

Quentin opens the portal back to the mansion

Casper runs and does the same thing as he did with the first portal

"What is it?" He smiles gently.

Elena sits him down on the couch and gets her medical kit. "Thank you. I left my IV kit at home, so injections will have to do. I'm so sorry I didn't find you sooner. This will sting," she warns before treating his burns.

Ren sighs. "Why do you keep looking at me like that? I asked you to stop multiple times and you still do it, so it can't be on purpose, which means you can't be doing it to manipulate me, right? I just... I don't get it! You know almost everything about me, and you keep looking at me like... I don't know like I matter to you."

Angelica looks at Casper. "It may hurt to talk about it, but a lot of the time-" She's cut off by their jumping the portal. She clutches her head. "Do I need to get used to that?"

Quentin walks through the portal and sees Dani and Elena then without a sound walks to the kitchen

Casper shakes his head " you do not have to get used to it "

Dani nods " ok "

Mike flops on the couch by will

"Because you're hurt. Because you are so familiar to me, yet so different, that I don't know how to feel." He softly sways with her. "You do matter to me, in a way I've never felt before. Do you have any self worth? Why do you beat yourself down so much?"

Elena gives him an injection. “And... that should do it. Try to lay off the guitar for a little bit until your hands heal and while you regain your strength. Can I.. talk to you? We’re friends, right?”

Ren sighs. “I’ve done too much to have any worth, self inflicted or not. Do you know why I smoke so much? A lot of people smoke so they don’t feel anything but the buzz, but I smoke so I feel something, anything, even if it’s temporary and false. That’s why I gave you my pack. I don’t want to be that smoke illusion around you, and that’s the thing. I don’t feel like I have to.”

Angelica sighs in relief. “Oh thank the gods.”
