The lowering wall made all three of the guests flinch ever slightly, just enough to be noticed by the most watchful of individuals. Carmen was not perfect at hiding her mindset, though it quickly became clear that Jessibelle was acting in her best interests. Outside of the chamber, her six-limbed construct continued to wait, watching in no particular direction.as it rested upon its giant claw.
"As private as I can make it," she nodded, retaining calmness in her voice if not her eyes. "It should be no problem should I need to disclose anything more; I am seeking refuge after all, not enemies."

Again the queen took uncannily well to her request - and somewhat caught Carmen off-guard with her sudden informality. Putting two and two together, the guest easily deduced the former was how she was expected to speak in public, thus it appeared the chamber was not only for her own benefit.
"And you are not asking for anything in return?" was her only query, now crossing her arms where she sat. Jessibelle had already expressed her generous ethics, but Carmen could never be too sure.

Jessibelle just gave a wry little smile, knowing full well that most people think that her methods of gaining allies are ridiculously outlandish. "Oh not in the sslightesst. I only exxpect honessty when I help people. That'ss not too much to assk for iss it?" The empress leaned slightly left and pressed a button on her console, the sound of a microphone chimed up. "Yess, there iss a package that needss pickup nearby, likely within the ccity. Carmen here will inform you of the location." She released the button and leaned her head towards it, hinting that Carmen should press it. She did, of course, have to press the button to tell them where it is.

"It is not within the city," Carmen gently corrected Jessibelle, and did not move an inch from her seat. If she was expected to entrust her life's work with strangers, naturally she would have the necessity to watch over them.
"The luggage in question is about three meters wide, three tons in weight. Its location is hidden, but within reach. This model can lead your men to it." In sync with her words, the white-furred construct righted itself with its wings, waiting attentively for further instruction.

Alright, this is where the time skip comes in. Jessibelle ordered her men and women to go out and follow Carmen's little tracker creature and find what is known as the Augmenter. They brought it into Jessibelle's private quarters to maintain absolute safe keeping. Once that was said and done, and everyone had ensured that they were loaded onto the ship, they began launch procedures. Within the hour Jessibelle, Carmen, and everyone else on board her armada was launched into space. One by one every ship followed the Silver Maiden vertically, they had made sure the ships would have more than enough fuel and resources for their travels. So much so, that they could survive solely in space for at least a generation. Though that wasn't their intention, the Ahs Chini were going to be heading somewhere else to gather more resources for her people.

Totally legitimate.

In orbit over the planet they looked down at the location they were just in. Noticing the absolutely abhorrent conditions of the world itself. It was effectively a wasteland, spotted with supercities. The empress shuddered a bit, noting that she would have to take a long soak later. At her core she was a terrible person, hell, if one were able to look closely enough at the planet's surface they would notice a high powered explosion going off where they had taken refuge. Mortimer, in another room, had just pressed the detonation switch on the terraforming device they had left behind. It had never been a terraforming device in the first place, it was always an explosive.

Now, Jessibelle and Carmen were still talking casually inside of the room. They had reached a point where Jessibelle was asking about star maps. "Sso, Carmen, you ssaid that you came to this planet from where, exactly? I'm curiouss ass to whether or not you would happen to have a log of locationss that are noteworthy throughout the universse. Hm?"

Surely enough, Carmen's five-eyed construct and her 'luggage' were escorted back in one piece -- and a short time after, plans were set for the fleet to depart. As the ship neared the outer atmosphere, Carmen felt the return of her sixth sense, gradually re-establishing connections with her constructs' minds. With all but a commanding thought, her rabbit-like companion hovered over beside the far window, remotely allowing Carmen to glimpse the world they were leaving behind.
Having seen all there was to see on Mystique's surface, her disdain of its barren wastes could not be elevated any higher. The planet was useless to her, and likely impossible to salvage at that. The leaving present which Jessibelle appeared to have left behind perhaps suggested they had reached the same conclusion. with the erasure of her base, it could be expected that the fleet did not expect to return here... even if an explosion of that size appeared to be more than a little reckless. Though her face tried to hide it, Carmen knew something was off here; If the leader had appeared as nothing but polite and generous in her time meeting her... then, was this what was to happen to those she no longer affiliated with?
While a concern, it was still an unlikely accusation, and one which likely would not affect her in her time aboard. Of all her talents, Carmen took the most pride in her avoidance of becoming a target; she fully expected this trip to run smoothly, but even if Jessibelle was to show a malicious side, she was confident in her ability to take advantage of it rather than becoming a victim.

As their idle conversation ensued, the Queen finally requested something from Carmen in return. Seeing past her phrasing, the guest assumed she wanted intelligence regarding other planets nearby. Recalling her earlier encounter, the other outsider Jessibelle had taken in had also visited from outer space, thus Carmen expected that he was also to be queried in a similar fashion. Still, providing such information was of little inconvenience; without revealing anything more about herself, information was the most she could afford to offer, and anything to lessen her debt was sure to help in the long run.
Carmen withdrew a rectangular device from her inner coat pocket, about the size and width of a modern smart-phone, with a refined metal rim and back plate. This device was her personal memo, for storing things which her vast memory cannot portray quite as effectively. A star map was amongst its standard features, comparable to a modern-day GPS application. Shown on-screen, The device logged a great number of surrounding stars. Four of them were marked as solar systems which Carmen had visited, and within them were about a dozen orbits, with notable planets and asteroids marked in their simulated positions.

"I didn't get the name of the last planet I had travelled to," said Carmen, who appeared far more relaxed with her situation than she had a few hours ago. A gentle finger pointed above one of the larger-rendered planets, exhibiting two well-defined and radically-different continents. "Terribly cold weather," she added, turning the device towards the spider-lady. "Sparsely populated, at least where I landed... My last escort and I could not stay for long."
She raised the device a little and looked up, gesturing for Jessibelle to borrow it from her. Carmen did this with confidence, knowing its more-sensitive data had already been obscured. No visiting or departure dates were recorded on the system itself, and several less-remarkable planets had been omitted, thus preventing anyone from discerning her path or origin.
