Welcome to Windford Academy, the newest elementary school created by the Winford Society for a Better Future! You are a new staff of the equally new institution and have a lot on your plate already, from leaning about your pupils and coleagues to finding a way to make the following school year go as smoothly as possible.

First, you will need a role, with each teacher being able to take a basic subject and being responsible for the Homeroom of a sole class.

Name: Poppy Mitchell
Gender: Female
Age: 23
Position: Art Teacher
Personality: Poppy is sweet and chirpy. She has a voice like music and she charms everyone she meets. She rarely looses her temper but some people take advantage of that. Poppy is honest but will tell white lies if it means being kind to people. Her inability to be honest for fear off coming across as rude can be bad for her teaching career.
Strengths: Fair, friendly and fun.
Weaknesses: Hates to shout and give discipline.
Appearance: 5'6, 110lbs.

Quirks: Poppy can be kind of slow and jokes can go completely over her head. Her voice is very high pitched and she's very excitable.
Prior History: It's Poppy's first teaching gig after graduating from college. She's always had a flair for art and is very excited to start at her first school.

Poppy was born in New York to wealthy parents. She was an only child but always wished she could have a younger sibling to play with. Poppy has always loved kids and knew she wanted to be a teacher since she was ten.
Goal for their pupils: To have fun and enjoy art!

Position: Librarian

Personality : Lora is usually strict and firm. She gets angry very easily, so it's best not to test her. Sure, she has her moments when she is as sweet as can be, but don't expect for it to last long. She was always one to be very straight forward and tell it like it is no matter who she hurts in the process. She loves her job, and absolutely adores the kids, but most of them will most likely see her as the "evil librarian."
Strengths : Disciplinarian, educated, and a good listener.
Weaknesses : Short-tempered and brutally honest.

Quirks : Tends to stay away from people in general and just read a good book.

Prior History : Lora has wanted to be an author since she was a little girl, but since hasn't happened yet, being a librarian was the closest that she could get. It's been a year since she has graduated from college, but she is just now starting at the job.

She grew up in Atlanta, Georgia with her single mother and two younger brothers. Her mom worked multiple jobs, so she was never home. That was basically how Lora started writing, whenever her mom was away she would sneak on the computer and spend hours typing up anything that popped into her head. Reading is second nature to her.
Goal for their pupils : To enjoy writing and improve their reading level.

Age: 27
Position: English Teacher

Personality: Arthur is loud and passionate, he loves his job more than anything in the world. Anything he puts his mind to he will do. He's the perfect spokes man for any group as he has a certain charisma about him that seems to draw people to him, like metal to a magnet. His one true love is literature, and when he's not talking, or teaching, he often has his nose in a book.
Strengths: Patience, charisma, people skills
Weaknesses: Arthur wears his heart on his sleeve and his feelings are easily hurt

Quirks: Arthur likes to collect useless bits of trivia that he will randomly spout out. He also writes poetry in his spare time, but he has never shown it to anyone.
Prior History: Arthur grew up in an abusive household. If he wasn't getting beat himself he was watching his mother and 2 younger sisters get brutalized by his step-father. Arthur's one true escape was books, when things would get "dark" around him he would retreat into the alternate worlds tucked neatly into a package bound in paper. This passion carried on all throughout his basic schooling and even on into his college years. It was then that he decided he'd be a teacher, so he could spread the joys of words and storytelling on to younger people.
Goal for their pupils: To instill in the students the same passion for literature that he himself has.

Personality : She's known to let people walk all over her, she's very quiet and shy.
Strenghts : Strong singing voice, easy to learn from, kind.
Weaknesses : Timid, shy, unconfident.

Prior History : In her family she was always wrapped up in cotton wool, and any minor injury was a massive deal, so she has an exaggerated sense of danger.
Goal for their pupils : To help them improve and understand themselves better.
