Let's call it both. The trauma is obviously there, and she shows signs of being neurodivergent.

Also Slade is almost definitely a sociopath. That or he compartmentalizes.

I'm assuming Socipath, this version of him is that, just with very strong ties to family once they are fully formed.

And sounds fair enough for her to have a mix of both.

And that would explain why she has no friends. The other kids probably think she's weird, though they probably would not be able to explain why.

HIVE is going to be interesting for her then. As I've been tempted to have Jinx crash into Jinny there and possibly start up a friendship.

I've got enough to work with, it's just finding the time to get it written. The down side of 12hr shifts, very little free time during the work week.

Not to terribly bad, though I will admit it is annoying. The three to four day weekends make up for it, that and the fact that my workweeks are only three to four days long themselves.

Having a short work week sounds nice. But I don't think I could do a 12 hour shift.

Depends on the day, as what task I have at work changes around at times, but 12's aren't so bad. Though I do understand I am quite the outlier since I actually enjoy 12hr overnight shifts.

My schoolwork is boring as hell so I wrote that up instead.

Jinny has probably stated very openly that she loves and cares for him. She's just not a touchy-feely kid for the most part.

Okay, no reply yet but I have been chipping away at it so one should be up in the next day or two. Has been fighting me for some reason, which has been very annoying.

It didn't really, granted the past few days was more to do with work then it, but still.

Went back though our posts and did realize that Slade hadn't mentioned that he was also going to be attending HIVE. I know that me and you talked about it. So now Jinny also knows that he is going along with her, because I almost assumed that there had been at least a passing mention about it.

Jinny is actually very happy about this. She has yet to reach the stage of disliking her parental figure. Though I imagine she may rebel a little when she is older.

Granted I'm not fully sure how she'll rebel, considering Slade probably wouldn't bat an eye unless she got caught? Maybe she'll be a vigilante for a month before deciding its boring.

Hmm, will need to think on that a bit myself, bet I got at the moment is excessive showboating or sandbagging his/her missions. Which not sure if she would do either of those.
