Aggie didn't expect such a quick response and took a pretty deep gash in her upper abdomen. She knew her time was almost up with her strength potion. If she could just end this she could take the rest of her healing potion. She'd still be battered, but she'd live. That's what was important. Aggie, after feeling the pain fly across her stomach, pounced, tackling Rodney, and if successful throwing a flurry of punches with her right arm in his face and chest.

Rodney felt his face begin to break and bleed as he was pummeled mercilessly. It was surprising, really. He had no idea someone could muster such strength. Then again, she had been drinking some strange substances earlier, most likely potions of some kind. That was no doubt the reason for her increased strength. Ignoring that for the time being, however, Grimes knew he had to end her assault somehow. So he clenched his knife as tightly as he could and thrust up and to the left, sending the blade arcing straight for Aggie's jugular. A lethal strike if she did not move in time.

Aggie noticed the knife, not soon enough to dodge, but definitely soon enough to block. The pain seared in her arm as she took the knife in it. Right now, all she needed to do was win. She forcibly put a knee on his chest and stood up. She felt the extra strength leave her but now she didn't need it. She drove her foot forcibly toward his face with a fierce stomp.

Rodney tried to block. Tried to dodge. Tried so desperately to make himself move, only to find that he lacked the strength to do so. He was exhausted and his body hurt. There was no way for him to avoid her attack, that much was certain, and blocking would only prolong the inevitable. So, closing his eyes he steeled himself for what was to come. Waiting for the fall of her boot, the fracturing of his skull, the spilling of his blood, and the inky embrace of unconsciousness.

Aggie's foot fell hard against his head. She was careful to hold back but was certain she had rendered him unconscious. She confirmed this then with an exhausted breath, fell to her butt. She shakily drank her potion. She felt the wounds stabilize. She then put the flask to Rodney's mouth and gave him the rest. He'd stay knocked out for a while, but he'd live, as long as nothing attacked him while he was down.

She felt like she only had a moment to breathe before a light flashed, and she was standing in the middle of the field again, unscathed, her potions full. It was time for her next battle. She grimaced at the realization that she could be stuck here for a while, all to entertain some strange outside force.
