@Relin Class-C (surprise, surprise!) actually has cannon fodder- err, npc students too so I don't think a common room type deal would work. It'd have to be a dormitory building of some sort. Or am I misunderstanding this common room thing? I'm not a Harry Potter guy.

Yeah, the "common room" is like a lounge where everybody can mingle, but then they go off to individual dorms.

I approve of a discord. When it comes to rooms, I think it would be fun to do it in pairs or 3 person groups. Just so at the end of a day or so, your character might have someone to chat with about happenings of the day, of the day after and all that. My character would love to have a shares room with some of the others, and a shared bathing room. Then there could be lavatories outside the actual rooms etc just an idea though.

Yeah sorry about that. It's best to say something in here so I can gauge interest before things like this happen. I'll let you know if someone drops or if more spots become available if you want.

Edited and posted Sekhandur. I think it's fair to suggest that the "original" versions of his abilities would be more advanced forms of these spells that he could achieve with further practice and study. The system I was generally inspired by for his magic gives spells multiple different possible effects, depending on how your stats are allocated, and are meant to reward players with a diversified build.

With regard to the discord situation, I'm indifferent. It makes for more lively chatter but it's one more thing to check and for information to get lost and drowned out.

As for the room situation, I think having pairs of roommates and then a general common area would make for the most interesting setup. Although our current arrangement of bodies currently slants 6 female, 5 male, so take from that information what you will.

On the topic of the room setup, I like the idea of the 3-person group/rooms. It'll allow for some interesting character-building time and, depending on who gets grouped together, it would be hilarious to see how these characters handle the living situation.

About discord, I'm not opposed to it. I am quite active on Discord myself. Equally so, it's been so long since I've been in a roleplay with so much OOC chatter. It's quite nostalgic. Nevertheless, I'm indifferent.

Anyways, more seriously for rooming arrangements, I'm a madman for drama and shenanigans, so we should have mixed gender rooming arrangements and a common bath area.

I have too many discord servers too, so I'm leaning away from having to add another.

I'm in favor of solo or small-group rooms, and ~300% in favor of a Discord being made.

Maybe I should just make someone who's power is critical thinking or something to offset all the protagonists or something, lol

yeah i'm not opposed shared rooms either since berta would 110% cause some unnecessary drama :D also a discord could be a good idea but if we keep things in the ooc i wouldn't mind either
