[OOC] X-Men: The Divided

Well, certainly not our rookie team. One half of us are Blasters, the other half are Guerilla. We have nothing by way of support. When going up against the big guys like Godzilla or even Galactus you need a brainy type :) Our team is well short on brains. There's even a good chance Starry Eyed, and Plasma would feed Godzilla, making him stronger.

We will get a Emma Frost or Professor X for our team, just not sure who yet. I have not read the Godzilla Vs series, did anyone actually beat him or was it just something that ended with him leaving the scene? I know what happens at the very end though.

I'd offer up Marionette or Whisper but I'd have to tweak them a bit.

Marionette: Marion uses psychic invisibility to stand next to an opponent and then engages in mind control... completely down to the neural level making it very hard to resist. The person she's standing next to then does whatever motion she does.

Whisper: Somewhat similar to Marion, Whisper has a telepathic range that extends only a few feet. She can whisper just about anything into someone's ear and then they must obey.

Skein or Loom: Manifests psychic ribbons, ectoplasmic manifestations, that bind enemies, in addition to the telepathy.

As one member would do [Insert evil grin here] and then I would go one step further by thinking of a lot of evil quotes from various things while tapping my fingers together like a crazy person.

Hi, I'm a special Mary Sue called Hope Summers. Everyone adores me because I'm their last and best hope for mutantkind... but I'm a common everyday girl... but also the most powerful. I have a horde of protectors and they all worship me... not that I understand why because I'm a normal common everyday girl. Oh, and I boost the abilities of everyone around me, making them the most badass people on the planet.... but again, I'm just a common everyday girl. What would I know?

I've despised everything X-Men since just a bit before the House of M when they decided to kill off an X-Man every other episode just to show how badass the current villain is. Banshee being turned into roadkill was the last straw. I already had to suffer through fluctuating power levels of the characters.... and now this? Bah!

I am absolutely beat, guys. Worked and gave blood right after. Figured I would give a head's up, but unless I get a second wind tonight, I'll post tomorrow.

That's because you're WEAK! WEAK! Well, at least for another dozen hours or so while your plasma is slowly regenerating. I don't like giving blood. I get low blood pressure headaches. Bah.

I am so pale with these big, BLACK circles around my eyes and I can't do much more than lay down and try not to be asleep so early.

I always have those raccoon eyes. I had a desk job for quite some time and I let my body go. Sure, I may be plenty skinny but I have no muscle tone. They're getting better... slowly. I've been doing a bit on the exercise bike, done a bunch of crunches and lifted weights but damn...

I really should have gone out biking or for a jog today but enh...

Well I got the impression it was the evening. some are mingling, one or two gone to the danger room and I think some fought a possible intruder. I only think one or two even went of bathed and went to bed.

Also posted, sorry if it a wall of text was trying to get into the swing of things again and kind of get within the time gap, guess the fun part will be meeting the other mutants in the morning. :)

Warning with the last intro now in, I will move things along in a bit so I suggest you finish up what ever else your doing. Sounds like I am rushing but I felt the free roaming part went on for too long or it seems like it did to me. Some are now asleep so it is best this day comes to an end. Asleep? Why would anyone go to sleep? That's about the only thing worse than going to class or wanderimg off alone. There are dozens, if not more, students to meet and interact with. All you have to do is hit any of the common rooms, the gym, the tennis courts, the pool or what have you.
