actually, there is one glaring issue with the xmen films, a minor thing to be sure, in first class we see a young xavier lose the use of his legs yes?But in Origins we see an older Xavier (after losing his hair) WALKING out of the helicopter, but i spose it could of been an illusiony thing lol

Hence why Origins is the start of Timeline A in Universe A and First Class is the start of Timeline B in Universe B. As we all know, timelines and universes differ GREATLY in the Marvel Mulitverse.

In the wolverine Xavier is back in a chair even though he would be in a new body. why is that? My other wolverine question: why do wolverines claws not leave his hands a blood-soaked mess while he cant regenerate? Bullet wounds take minutes to hours, but 6 separate 8 inch blades don't need medical attention as often as he pops and draws them back in?

Fox has always played fast and loose with continuity. My personal favourite is Emma Frost showing up in "The Wolverine" and she's something like twelve years old in the 1980's. Then she appears again during the Cuba Missile Crisis and... she's a full grown adult?

A. Emma Frost wasn't in The Wolverine, she was in Origins. B. She was never CALLED Emma Frost. She was just called Emma in the film and Kayla's sister/Emma in the credits. C. I'm pretty sure Fox toatally retconned that as being just a mutant named Emma who had diamond hard skin and NOT Emma Frost.

His healing factor isn't GONE. It's just suppressed. And considering bullets make holes AND the bullets were still inside him, while the claw slit were just that. Slits. Granted, HUGE slits, but the skin probably had an easier time closing. Also, this is X-Men. Angel cannot fly, Kitty cannot walk on the ground while intangible, electricity finds the path of least resistance, and diamond I don't think diamonds are bullet proof. I gave up trying to use real world logic. Or even their own logic. Besides, the comics are worse when it comes to continuity.

Sorry, I was calling the Origins movie the Wolverine movie long before the sequel came out. I call that one Wolverine II. As I was saying that particular muck-up was just my favourite, there's tons more continuity problems.

Here's just a few of them:

Professor X is easily explained (alternate universes), Emma Frost I already explained (again, alternated universes), Beast is easily explained (All mutants are still mutating. Rogue eventually go to the point where she CAN turn it off), The Summers brothers.... okay, you got me (But again... alternate universes), Sabertooth is easily explained (he went through a SEVERE mutation that wiped part of his memories... either that or by then he's so animal he doesn't care about brotherly love. By the by... remember Sabretooth's obsession with Wolvy's dog tags?), Moira MacTaggart (No one mentioned her age in EITHER movie and no one said she was american in First Class. That could've been a fake accent. Also alternate universes), General lies (Really? You REALLY gonna make me say it again? Alright. Alternate... Fucking... Universes), Deadpool... FUCK FAKEPOOL (UNLESS!!!!! They use him as a stepping stone for the REAL Deadpool. Check it. His mouth is unsealed in the end credits scene anyways (where he breaks the fourth wall, by the way), the decapitation fucked up his laser vision and technopathy (it's how Stryker controlled him) so that's gone, but it also glitched his teleport, so that it's not working properly... exactly like Deadpool's teleportation device. The torture he had to go through made him batshit crazy, so yay. And now he's ugly, so he wears a mask and kick-ass costume. Oh, yeah. And because of his love for his katanas, he pulls those fuckers out and puts them back into handles. BOOM!! Fakepool is now Deadpool, free to kill and screw hot chicks and kill some more as much as he wants).

There you go. Every problem fixed by simply saying "X-Men: First Class begins a separete Universe and Timeline that will be continued in the past segments of X-Men: Days of Future Past.

I love my brain sometimes.

Alternate universes aren't complete fantasy. As improbably as they may be they are still possible. They're extrapolated from points of divergence. A decision gone a different way, a random factor falling askew, or in the rarest circumstances, an immutable law of physics differentiating in some fashion.

What point of divergence involves biological twins being born a generation apart? Additionally, certainly, they didn't declare Moira's age but there are SIXTY years between her first appearance and her second and she's barely aged. Additionally, the CIA does not allow non American citizens to join.

All this really becomes moot. Some things can be explained away and earn you a "No Prize", some things can't. The important thing is that Fox Films, simply didn't care. They were simply out to make a quick buck in the beginning since comic book movies were a means of making quick easy money without spending much. Expectations were low because none of the produces were producing quality films. Then Marvel Studios came along and crafted the Iron Man movie and changed everything, further solidifying the genre as a serious prospect.

What we should take away from this is that Fox is doing something surprising and noteworthy. As seen by the recent Spiderman movie, audiences now have higher expectations and the producers of such movies are putting more thought and efforts into their storylines. Sony consulted with Marvel and hired several of their writers for the new Spiderman movie. Fox, from the sounds of it, Fox is effecting a reboot of their franchise without invalidating everything that has gone before.

Exactly. It's actually quite impressive, when you think about it.

But, in all honesty. They can shut up and take my money. For God's sake, I saw Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance and kinda liked it. I like the first Ghost Rider. I like Man of Steel. I like Green Lantern. I don't give a flying fuck what the critics say. If it has a superhero I enjoy coming to life on the big screen. I'll go see it, and probably get the home video. I don't care. I like what I like, ya know.

Here are some options for those of you that are "stuck". Any one of these, but certainly not limited to them:

Some people wake up to take a midnight snack, some for a midnight walk assuming this is still at night.

Or assume the going ons in the Danger Room are occurring in the wee hours of the morning and people are just now beginning to get up and get around.

Or have some detailed dreams, maybe even (perhaps due to an "off-screen" NPC's power) have dreams that coincide and overlap with each other, i.e.: You get into each others dreams and float around or help fight one of the many demons in most of your character's respective heads or whatever.

It's your prerogative whether or not you want to do any of those things.

Working on a post right neow.

Okay, I started a Nightmare post, but decided to break it up so it's not ALL in one post, and to throw in a bit of variety in the Solemn-Assallya train.

Also it's really late and I still have English homework to do.
