"Maa-haa-haa~! Yeah! You sure did, Al." Brandy responded to her ally's question about her supposed 'winning'. Although, how one exactly won at drinking was a rather subjective inquiry in and of itself, but given that the little alchemist had drunk grown men nearly twice her size and weight under the table, and was still somehow standing - albeit unsteadily - it was probably fair to agree with Brandy. This oncce at least.

Hearing Sofia's acknowledgement of her, and completely ignoring the bits about ehr being headstrong and misguided, a big old smile spread across the satyr's face, and her ears flitted happily, as did her little tail. She then proceeded to glomp the undead archer, with Alice still glomping her. Making it a three-way glomp. Which almost caused the trio to tumble over right then and there. Fortunately, they didn't. The reason? A certain werewolf suddenly had to break off to go and empty out her stomach in an adjacent gutter. Which caused a certain undead to wrinkle her nose and looked displeased, and a bout of hysterical laughter from a certain tanned satyress.

"Jeez, Al! You're such a mess! Maa-haa-haa~!! C'mon ya lush, we gotta get you back home." Of course, getting back home wasn't really possible, since Alice hailed from Gromril, but the implication was easy enough to understand, even if Brandy's liquor-soaked mind wasn't fully cognisant of it.

The inn they arrived at was a fairly nice one. Clean and tidy, and the kind pair of elderly proprieters were friendly and agreeable - as far as dwarves go anyway. Having gotten Alice up the stairs, soemhow with the help of two others, Brandy waved Sofia goodnight.

"See ya in the mornin', Sofers. C'mon you, you can fondle and poke all ya wat once we get to bed." Brandy said, supporting the werewolf into their room. Though by the time they got inside, the alchemical drunk had already fallen asleep, chin resting on the rather sizable chest-pillows of the farm girl, who just laughed and gently stroke the other girl's hair. "Jeez, you're such a spoiled baby... C'mon, let's get some sleep."

For the first time in... Well, forever... Brandy showed some actual capacity for maturity, acting much like an older sister - despite being two years younger than her drunken ward - and got Alice into bed. Though not before taking off the other's clothes and making sure she hadn't soiled her underwear or had any other accidents. Once that was done, Brandy herself got undressed and laid down in the bed to, resting the werewolf's head against her busom while still gently stroking the other girl's head and hair. She just smiled quietly until she herself fell asleep.

Come the morning, >Alice would find her face snuggly wedged inbetween two very soft blouse bunnies... Which for some reason weren't contained by a brassier... Then again, having kept that on would perhaps have made things uncomfortable for Alice's face... Or it could just be that Brandy was a pervert and ran around braless.... The latter was likely more plausible...

With a bountiful night's rest, Alice would yawn and stretch against Brandy's bosom, unaware of where she was while the pounding headache induced by her hangover throbbed inside her brain. "Mm..." she said, ears drooping while she slowly pieced the reality of the room around her together. She was half naked, sleeping with Brandy who was lacking a bra...and she'd passed out drunk last night.

Alice would sit on the floor and think while getting her alchemical oven out, brewing herself some coffee since...really, who was going to pay an inn for garbage coffee? The hard-working folk of Gromril had a saying: "If the coffee sucks, break the cup." As such, Alice was accustomed to splurging just the tiniest bit on the beans for her coffee, the aroma of rich coffee being ground up in her mortar and pestle starting to fill the room before she started brewing. If Brandy wasn't awake already, she'd likely find that a mug of fresh hot coffee was waiting on the nearby nightstand, while Alice sipped her's in quiet bliss.

Meanwhile, Sofia would be fully dressed and up already. Wine went through her quick, and being undead, it wasn't like more poison could rot her brain any further. Seeing as her two companions had spent the night getting rather drunk (mostly Alice), she would be bringing them a tray of water and bread, to ease the hangovers they might be having.

"Alice, Brandy, I brought something for your headach-" Sofia said, before cracking the door and seeing the rather easy to misinterpret sight of Alice leaning against the table, shirt slightly open, and sipping on coffee while Brandy drank her's in bed. ...Did they...were they...?

Sofia would slowly close the door and turn around, pale cheeks flushed with color as she struggled to maintain her pure image of Alice as a smart, dependable adventurer. ...Was...she secretly a play-wolf!?

"Coffee~" Alice said while barely paying attention, hearing the door shut, unaware that Sofia's opinion of her had dropped from "Charismatic and smart leader" to: "Apex Predator when drunk."

Brandy awoke to the smell of delicious, delicious coffee. She yawned cutely as she sat up in the rather soft inn-bed, smacking a bit at the end and stretching upwards and backwards - fully putting her blouse bunnies on display as she did, without a care in the world. Seeing that Alice was already up, the satyr's ears flitted and twitched, while she rubbed her eyes sleepily. Then a big old smile spread across her face and she basically bounced right out of bed, as if she'd never seemed to have needed any rest in the first place.

"Hey-hey Al! Up already? Ooooh, that smells yum! Gimme some too?" She said, before spotting the unclaimed cup of the piping hot brew on the table. Snatching it right up, the little satyress barely blew on it before taking a big old gulp. Then her eyes went wide and she started coughing. "Wha- What the!? Pfft! Al! There's no honey or sugar in this! Gyak! My tongue! My tongue! Bwaaaah....!" Her eyes teared up, as if she'd been a child who just ate some bitter vegetable for the first time and was now very upset about it.

Of course Brandy had drunk coffee before, back home on the farm it was a staple of the family's breakfast. However, she was used to a milder flavor... Not the jet-black bitter brew of the devil himself. After a bit more whining and displaying her tongue, and gently bopping Alice on the shoulkder for her insidious prank, Brandy eventually calmed down a bit. Well, as calm as Brandy could be when she wasn't excited about anything just infront of her.

"So, anyway. What're we gonna do today? We delivered that enveloped and did that grave-stuff yesterday. So, like, are we gonna stay here in Garlton or we gonna head back to Litroot? Where's Sofers by the dubs? She not awake yet? I'll go get'er!" Brandy asked, said and comfirmed all on her own and all at once.

Slamming the door to their room open, she prepared to dash outside. However, a fortunate reminder from Alice about her... Lack of modesty...managed to catch the little farm-girl before she caused the establishment to have to shut down due to public decency complaints. Not that there were overly many other patrons awake just yet, nor would there likely be many complains from the gentlemen staying here, but regardless.

After quickly donning her cozy, fluffy shirt, she once again slammed the door open - she really seemed to like doing that - and bolted out...

.. Only to find Sofia not too far from their door. Causing her to skid to a halt. Which didn't make it in time. And she crashed into the undead. And they went tumbling onto the floor. Luckily for Sofia, her head managed to land on a couple of soft Brandy-brand airbags and wasn't in any risk of a concussion.

"Ow, ow, ow... Hi Sofers... G'mornin'. Wha'chu doing standing around outside for? Ouchies... C'mon, come in and drink some of Al's black bitter stuff." She greeted and invited her comrade, while still on the floor.

It seemed that Brandy was the type that preferred other stuff in her coffee...a luxury Alice didn't afford much of growing up, seeing as her family was kinda dirt poor. But hey, now she knew! Giving her satyr friend a reassuring pat on the head while she balked at the bitter aroma of black coffee, Alice let out a tiny chuckle. "Its more for the waking up effect it has," she said, ears twitching as she raised the mug back to her own lips and finishing her coffee off. "I think that we should head back to Litroot. Getting into a fight with a Necromancer was fun and all, but I still think we're not quite ready for big jobs on the regular," Alice said, starting to brush her tail.

Despite Sofia's best efforts, she wasn't able to escape the awkward situation in time, as Brandy ran right into her and bowled the undead over. The undead was thankful that her head hadn't come off, but it was certainly in a compromising position. "I-I am SO sorry! I'd meant to bring you two breakfast but you seemed busy," she said, the loaves of bread at least making it out okay in the chaos...but the water she brought was spilt all over the undead's clothes.

Alice would hear the ruckus and come out, tilting her head as she observed the two. "Brandy, you really need to slow down...C'mon Sofia, let's get you dried off," Alice said, helping the two up and promptly dragging Sofia inside to give her a change of clothes. Admittedly they were Alice's, but they seemed to fit alright enough on the undead. A little tight in the chest, but otherwise manageable. Now she looked more like a farm girl than a ranger in a cotton dress. "I-I have clothes of my own! A-Aren't my legs showing a bit too much?" the revenant stammered, tugging the hem of her skirt to try and hide more of her thighs.

"This is showing WAY less skin than your armor does though...," Alice said, pulling Sofia out and showing Brandy the slightly less edgy Revenant's temporary clothes. "Me and Brandy were talking, and I think we should head back to Litroot. What do you think Sofia?"

Sofia was fiddling with her skirt, grumbling: "Hate skirts..." while she fidgeted. She'd answer after a moment though, still a bit self conscious as she said: "Seeing as I have chosen you two as my party, I'll abide by any decisions made. After all, you are my seniors," Sofia said, also adding: "Plus...I'm a touch sick of Gnarlton. ...I have some bad memories from here."

"Great! So we'll go back and tell the raccoon-lady and the lil' hat-girl that we got their letter delivered, yeh? Hah! I can't wait to see the look on their faces when we tell'em we beat up a whole necromolester!" Brandy excitedly exclaimed, loud enough to be heard outside the room, which ndoubtedly got some of the other gusts to question just what the girls had been up to recently.

At Sofia's interjection of the two other girls being her 'chosen party' and 'seniors', Brandy cheeks flushed, her eyes sparkled and a big, impossibly wide smile spread across her face. And then she bounched from where she'd been standing, leaping the entire length of the room, landing next to the revenant in her fluttery new skirt, and glomping onto her... While still not wearing a bra or shirt, rubbing her cheek against the undead's own.

"D'aaaaaawwww, Sofers~! You're just like, the most adorable thing ever! I could just eat ya right up, maa-haa-haa~!" The satyress shouted happily... In the revenant's ear... And loud enough to be heard outside their room. Again.

After a bit more skinship and female bonding, Brandy was eventually unglued from Sofia's side, and returned to the bed. She rummaged around in the covers and underneath said bed, finally locating her shirt that she'd so carelessly torn off and tossed aside after yesterday's drinking festivities. Getting dressed, she scampered over to a mirror that was hanging on one of the room's walls. Checking her face, she gingerly adjusted and fiddled with her hair, inspected her horns, took a good, uncomfortably long stare at her own face, and finally checked the inside of her own ears. Once happy and satisfied with the results, she returned to Alice.

"Alright! So, we gonna head out straight away, or you wanna get some meat in ya first? I'll go get the short lady to cook up something if ya want. Oh, Sofers, you had something wiht ya, right? Maybe Al can just chow down on that? Oh crap, I gotta go hit the pee-bucket, back in a flaaaaaaaaaaash~!"

The sound of a race-car once again resounded as the eneergetic satyress rushed out of the room, somehow leaving a cloud of dust behind her despite the room being relatively clean. It appeared that Alice's coffee had had a somewhat adverse effect on her insides, and she was in need of a lavatory. Or perhapos she just needed to expel all that extra liquid she'd imbibed from the night before. Regardless, let's leave the detail of her visit to the little girls' room up to the imagination for now.

Some minutes later....

SLAM!

"I'm back!" A happy Brandy with flitting ears slammed the door to her and Alice's room open as she re-appeared after her call of nature. "I 'totes forgot, you two! But before we go, could we stop at a store I saw earlier? I'd like to get a lil' somethin'-somethin' to remember my first visit in the big city, y'know?" She was bobbing up and down on her little hooves, hands clasped infront of her and ears twitching. It was kind of adorable really.

Of course, the shop she had mentioned was nothing special, just your average general store. What possible kind of souvenir she was expecting to find there was a mystery to anyone but Brandy. But knowing the satyr, it was porbably something that most other people wouldn't consider a proper memento... or just proper in general...

Sofia wholesale flinched and tried to put up a guarding stance as Brandy leapt at her, fully expecting another full-frontal-goat-collision before getting glomped once more. At being told Brandy could 'eat her right up', Sofia's face flushed a reddish gray before saying: "Please, do not!" Alice, ever the secondary instigator, giggled and hugged the Revenant and brandy, sandwiching the undead.

...Her adventuring party were always going to be a handful, weren't they?

Once Brandy was ready and asking Alice about their plans, Alice would rifle through her bag to find her coin pouch, count her change and say: "Ehhhh...s-should probably not...even if a big serving of bacon sounds nice," Alice said, before Sofia's bread was mentioned once more. That would do just fine, as the werewolf heartily ripped the bread to pieces with her teeth and munched while Brandy went to answer the call of nature.

Alice would thoroughly enjoy some fresh-baked bread before Brandy returned, nearly being knocked over as she bolted back into the room. Girl had no brakes, 100% of the time. But, none of that mattered, since they were all geared up and ready to go out. And, from the sound of it, Brandy had something she wanted to get as a keepsake. Not seeing any reason to deny the innocent request, Alice would say: "Sure!", with Sofia adding: "Of course. It would be a shame to not at least commemorate the trip with something. ...But," the Revenant would duck back inside her room, adding: "I'm changing back into my normal clothes. My raiments are as important as my bow, after all! You two go on ahead."

Seeing as how Sofia would take a large amount of time to change into her Costume/Armor, Brandy and Alice were free to head to the store. Seeing the average looking store, Alice's tail swished a bit. She was really curious on what her friend wanted to buy, but would quietly follow along.

Despite the shop's rather generic, and frankly umremarkable, appearance and atmosphere, Brandy seemed to be nontheless very excited. Running to and fro along the aisles and shelves of goods, it was nothing less than a sheer miracle that she hadn't knocked anything over yet. Her proclivity to also get ontop of every step-ladder she could find in the shop was also cause for concern, as the clerk at the counter was giving her and Alice the stink-eye anytime she did... Not that the bubbly satyr noticed, of course.

After a bit of pointless running running around and idle chit-chatting, Brandy finally stopped infront of a particular shelf. Turning to face it, her eyes scanned up and down, side to side and then digaonially along the racks of various item, seeming to searching for something. And then! Like a bolt of lightning from the clear sky, her eyes lit up with sparkles as they fell upon the legendary and mysterious item she'd beenj searching for!

...

...

...

A wood-carved rooster.

Yup. That sure was a wooden rooster, carved with a knife. Not of particularly good make either. Not bad, like, you could tell it was a rooster and everything, but it wasn't extraordinairy or remarkable in any way... It did have 'Gnarlton General' carved into both wings though.

"There it is! Maa-haa~! The Rooster General! I'm so lucky, I was 'totes sure someone else woulda been in and bought it before I could. Phew." The satyress let out a sigh of relief, as if she'd just been able to grab the last jar of discount mayonaise from a supermarket's limited-time sale or something... Grabbing the woody hen-statue, she held it up and turned it over a few times, before holidn it out to Alice.

"Ain't it great, Al? Who thinks up stuff like this, I mean? A chicken that's a general? Maa-haa-haa! That's so silly, I love it." The tanned bombshell laughed, apparently completely ignorant that what she thought the text on her prize's sides meant wasn't in fact what they meant at all....

Bringing the carving over to the clerk, she proudly presented her purchase to the clerk, who stared at it for a bit, before looking up at Brandy. He said somehting under his breath, along the lines of: I never thought anyone would buy this old things - or something of that nature, but Brandy either didn't hear it, or didn't care. Regardless, she paid the rather pitiful cost of the rooster, smiling from ear to ear as she picked it up and held it up into the air, with a fanfare of: Doo-doo-dee-doo~ playing in the background, somehow...

"Oh yeah! That reminds me. Al, you wanna get something while we're here too? Might be some thick sticks for you to gnaw on." A smug-looking Brandy said with suggestively half-closed eyes.

Other than that though, she gently put the carved statuette into her oversized backpack and then hefted said pack back onto herself. If Alice had nothing she wanted to buy or get before they left, the pair could just head on over to the south gate and meet up with Sofia.
