Bio: Several generations ago, a bottom-class woman led a full scale revolt against the technologically advanced elite of the land. It was a bloody fight, by the end there were less than twenty people alive on either side. The woman had survived, though, and she took her place as the new queen. Her name had been Lilly, but she was hailed as Queen Lillith von Catterwall, for her battle cries were said to be that of a vicious feline springing at it's assailants. It was not long before the Queen was with child, however, knowing that it was the hardships she faced that made her a worthy Queen, she decided she would not allow her daughters to know the ease of royal life. Thus it became tradition that every female heir be cast into banishment by the age of six, where she must grow on her own, until she has made a name for herself and proven she is worthy of inheriting the title of Queen. It then falls to the male heirs to run the kingdom until such time that a daughter return and prove her worth. If no daughter returns by the end of the Queen's life, the son will rule until such time as she returns, at which point he was have the chance to challenge her for the throne. Not once has a son challenged a daughter and won.
Duke Strax is the second born child and first born son of Queen Lillith von Catterwall VII. His sister, Lillith von Catterwall VIII, returned to prove her worth less than a year ago. Since then, Strax has slowly but surely been being phased out of royal affairs as his sister prepares to take the throne. Despite what many may think, Strax is actually glad, as less time devoted to policy and diplomacy was always welcome. With her on the throne, he'd be able to focus more on his own passions. Unfortunately, with his sister returned, Strax was no longer needed in the palace, and his mother wasted no time trying to marry him off to other nations for various reasons. Strax had no desire for a wife (though he enjoyed the thought of children), but he knew there was no arguing with a combat hardened Queen. Many 'young maidens' had been rounded up for Strax to pick from, but none of them interested him. It wasn't until he heard tell of a very particular Princess who had been turning down nearly every suitor who came to call. Strax decided then that he would only wed a woman with a will as strong as hers and immediately made preparations to travel to her kingdom and call on her himself. Strax knew nothing else about this woman, but even if it didn't work out, he wanted to meet the only woman who might reject him.

Other: Strax is a jarhead beefcake who likes strong-willed women. He's actually bisexual, liking strong men and women, but he still hasn't come to terms with it. As far as he's concerned, he's straight as an arrow.

Bio: Being a bastard son of King Tenek, Arkyth had always been treated with some degree of questionability by many nobles at the palace. After being recently disqualified from the annual stag-hunting contest, a fed-up Arkyth decided to elope from his kingdom to look for greater opportunities abroad, which is when he stumbled upon perhaps the greatest opportunity ever--a chance to become king and ruler of the most prominent kingdom in the world. Sure he might be a little young for the job, but that's never stopped him from going after what he wants.
Other: Gifted with exceptional physical prowess and dexterity, Arkyth is a fierce and crafty fighter. Armed with a sword and a pistol, even the nobles who doubt his royal merit would have to admit to his skill in combat.

Bio:
Nineteen years ago, the King and Queen had welcomed their first child, Tavia Rose into the world, being the first heir to the throne should anything happen to her parents. Her parents were excited and over the moon in love with their daughter. Life was good for the family and everything seemed to be going perfectly for them. When the queen was expecting a second child, Tavia was only five years old and not completely understanding what was going on with her mommy.

During child birth with the second one, the queen had complications and didnt make it. Both the baby and the queen had died in the even of her trying to bring the second child into the world. THe kingdom was devastated with the loss of the queen and second but first son of the kingdom. Since that dreadful night, the king had changed and become more stern and distant with his daughter. She was a spitting image of her mother and it was a painful reminder that she was no longer here with them.

Though it wasnt Tavias fault, she suffered from losing her mother that night, she also lost her father. Tavis grew older and learned all she could about being the best queen she could be for her people. She never intended to marry or have children worried that the same thing would happen to her that happned to her mother. Her father was someone that she barely knew now as young adult, as the two seemed to just keep their distance from one another. Tavia never quite understanding why she had always seemed to make her father upset whenever she was around.

When the King grew older and it was time to pass the throne on to his daughter, he gave her two stipulations before he would do so. Tavia knew that she could prove herself to him that she could protect the kingdom, it was something she had trained and worked on all her life. But the second one, having to marry, was unacceptable. No matter how hard she fought him on it, he wouldnt budge. Tavia was alot like her father but looked like her mother in that sense but she had finally budged on her stance and agreed to his terms. Though she had a different way of doing it, she would find the right suitor for herself by holding a contest and seeing who was the best out there to rule at her side.

Personality:
Tavia is a very strong willed and independent. Can be stubborn when it comes to things she strongly believes in. Hard working and takes her title very seriously. Doesnt let her feelings or emotions show to the public, has learned to keep them locked away.

Appearance: Liv is a tall, not necessarily healthy thin woman with lightly tanned skin and deep red hair. Her attire consists of very ostentatious clothing, with a button-up white shirt, open to expose some of her chest, and black high-waisted tights, topped off by knee-high leather boots. She has several tattoos, with normally only a winding snake over the beginnings of a peacock feather visible on her neck, and an ornate floral pattern on her chest.

Bio: Liv was...is not the brightest bulb in any shed, she does however possess the knowledge that there's a lot of money going to the royal castle suddenly, and God be damned, she wants a slice of that. That being said, she grew up poor and turned to thievery when nothing else paid enough for her liking. Most of her first robberies were botched so horribly, yet somehow, through sheer dumb luck she was able to come out of them slightly richer, but she always wanted more. Seeing this as her perfect opportunity to get more, she's going to jump at the chance...and probably fall in the worst place possible while trying to rob a castle.

Other: It needs repeating, she is the happy idiot with a bunch of skills, but no idea on how to put them together to be useful.
