EDIT: I've gone ahead and opened the IC so people can post if they feel like it. I'm not worried about people falling behind because RTD is pure unbridled shenanigans, but if you need a starter to plunge in I will be happy to provide you some optional quests to start you off if you don't have something in mind yet.

Also despite being "awake", I won't be posting for a while. On the order of several hours. One because I got class, IT related things from 10:05 to 12:35 usually, and two because my body decided it couldn't fall back to sleep after I woke up at 3.

I've been meaning to ask, but are we playing strictly mages? Or can it be any magical school user? So say, an arcane blade type deal where magic is used to supplement melee combat?

@Mae Well, she hates individual unworthy humans. I like to think of her as a more bigotted Thanos because she doesn't want to destroy half of a randomly chosen population. No, she wants to be rid of unworthy people, whether that be thieves, liars, murderers, or just those that are annoying she has yet to decide the actual make-up (and most likely never will).

What if someone bonded on a spiritual level with a demon, think symbiotic possession, and then used a soul stealing blade in order to bolster the demon's magic as well as maintain their mutually beneficial relationship without incurring damage to their actual soul?

I'm not sure what the repercussions of things will be yet which is what I'm most excited about finding out. I feel bad for the people who live in this world.

Cool. Also they're most likely screwed. The only thing I've yet to decide regarding this demon knight though is if the demon actually needs the souls to survive, or just to bolster their magics, and whether or not it's just taking them as an alternative to the host's soul.
