[OOC] Sweet Southern Nights (Vampire the Masquerade, 5th edition)

Rules:

• We shall be using the 5th edition ruleset for Vampire; The Masquerade. (Core rulebook only)
• Events within the story will be broken up into Scenes and Chapters.
• Dice will only be used to determine success when failure will result in suspense or major impact to the story.

-A majority of what transpires in this game will be depicted by roleplay.

Setting:
Our story begins in the distant past; April 15, 2000
It will take place in the Fabled City of Indianapolis

Disclaimer

My game is not designed to let you be super heroes who are vampires. Actions have consequences, the world is full of things that can kill you in a heartbeat, and you're the second from the bottom on the totem pole. You've got some neat tricks to keep you alive, but you're gonna have to make damn good use of them if you want to live to climb the ladder of power.

As I know you may be wondering, your third will be a good ol' boy by the name of Jesse.

Jesse is a classic, (American) southern style motor-head. He's into cars with big engines, working on cars with big engines, big guns, hunting with big guns, and spending time with his sweet heart.

He may or may not also be a mix between Joe Dirt and the Fonz.

@Silentfeather Are you familiar with the system? If so, feel free to send me a mock-up of your CS and I'll look it over for approval.

@rocketrobie2 Nice intro. I'll be having you roll a performance roll, and we're going to be trying it with the dice-roller on the site.

Here's how it will work. You're going to be at hunger 1 (the minimum), so you'll label one of your 1d10 rolls as a hunger die roll, as well as labeling it as part of this check. The rest you'll just label as part of the check.

Once you've rolled all the dice (individually for now, until I can determine a different method) you'll list the individual numbers with links to each roll.

It's gonna be kind of a pain, but I'll be limiting rolls to only times when it's important. Such as determining how well the rock star does on his opening number.

@Necroes Just want to make sure I roll my pool right: If I have a performance of 4, my pool's only going to be 4 right? Not adding charisma or anything?

@rocketrobie2 Your pool will always be a skill plus a stat. For you, you will combine both your performance and your charisma, and that will determine your pool size. You will also add an extra two dice to this pool, for your stunning merrit.

It should be noted by everyone; Stanley is an amazingly pretty man.
